For sure Mixed media sketchbooks are my go too. Because sometimes my sketches turn out good and I want to color them in any medium. So it’s nice to keep my options open. I just have to be careful about how much water I put

They're all absolutely awesome, but my favorite has gotta be between water colors and acrylics. Not that the pencil one is bad, in fact it's probably the most talented one. It's just that I love bright and vibrant colors! My favorite has gotta be the acrylics.

Personally I love to mix medias, marker, colored pencil, acrylic, whatever, each can do different things and if you play them to their strengths you can create something completely unique

I honestly love mixed media sketchbooks. I sometimes just sketch with a pen or pencil, but if i wanna throw ink or marker or paint at it for color, i can cause the paper can handle it. It makes art a lot more fun for me ^-^

That ohuhu sketchbook is really good for watercolors!! I am a watercolor artist and I REALLY layer a lot of colours. The pages held up really well. But idk about the acrylics. I tried painting a landscape and colours started to sort of get off the paper (?) as I was spreading them around

I really like experimenting with different art mediums. For example, my main thing fantasy, anything fantasy, usually just straight from my head. I do the art in many different mediums tho, like colour pencils, watercolours, markers, pen etc. Lately I'm doing a fantasy love scrap book diary thingy. I'm kinda different from you in almost every way, but I admire you nonetheless. It feels great getting to see other artists doing and loving their work. Love from Finland 🇫🇮❤️

MICHAEL JACKSON! my whole childhood

As an artist I really like mixed media sketchbooks, not perse to keep my options open, but because in one artwork i use multiple mediums. I think that's the main use of these types of sketchbooks. I will start with a watercolor or gouache imprimatura or underpainting. On top of that i will use a soft pencil or soft pastels to do a sketch. On top of that I'll use acrylics and sometimes oil paint. On top i might even add oil pastels again. Mixed media paper makes sure that the paper will hold it and that it is suited for all the different mediums I will put on it.
