Are you ever going to release the actual SPF results from your first failed sunscreen, like every other company has done? Krave was the most dishonest of all the companies that had sunscreen issues. Shame.

I'm so happy that you tested the Bondi Sands sunscreen! I noticed that Coles (Australian supermarket) had almost their entire range of skin care products at half price. I picked up their "Thirsty Skin" hydrating hyaluronic serum and loved it so much I went back a couple of days later and bought multiples of the "Thirsty Skin" serum, their "Daydream" hydrating whipped moisturiser (my absolute favourite!), the "Fresh'n Up" nourishing gel cleanser, "Gold'n Hour" brightening vitamin C serum and their Lip Balm with SPF 50+ Previously I've exclusively used Shiseido products for the past two decades and I can honestly say that I much prefer the Bondi Sands products. My skin isn't irritated after applying moisturiser, it's Australian Made and a fraction of the price. Fellow Australians, keep your eye on Coles specials for when it's half price (it's very affordable at it's full RRP anyway). Your skin and wallet will thank you!
I'd be really interested to see how these hold up underneath makeup and top up during the day- maybe for Robert to try out?

The video I needed SO BAD!!! Thank you 🫶🏽🫶🏽
I really rate the Bondi Sands sunscreen. It doesn't break me out and I went camping in 40 degree weather and didn't get burnt! I didn't have the highest hopes as I usually use the Mecca To Save Face or La Roche Posay one so it was a very pleasant surprise considering the cost.

Does the Bondi sands sunny daze moisturiser act as a pure sunscreen or a moisturiser + spf? The labelling is confusing me n idk if it means I stop using my normal moisturiser for me to use this one.

Thank you for the review on the Naturium SPF! I'm going on a vacation to FL in a couple days and wanted something to double as moisturizer for during the day, so I picked it up quick this morning!
Thank you thank you thaaaannk yooouu!! This video is such a life saver. I'm trying to vamp up my sunscreen collection and I'm beyond excited to try some of these you've tested.
Can I just say, I love the new intro, logo and backdrop ❤️
Thank you for the great feedback on sunscreens. I love Dr.G products, especially their sunscreens. Now I will add Nice Birdie to my collection.
I was actually searching your channel last night for the new krave spf review. Thank you 💜
I had the Bondi Sands original sunscreen and it was 9/10 but it was greasy for the 1st 10 mins after application. The Aveeno Protect + Hydrate Lotion - SPF 30 - 3oz...is perfection. No cast on dark skin, easy rub in, affordable, pleasant scent. My new fav 😍
Yaaas perfect timing
I love the natrium products!! The moisturizer and cleansing balm are really nice as well.
Such a helpful video! Some of these are definitely going on my to try list!
I bought the regular CKD sunscreen and the tinted version a few months ago and they both definitely collect around the hair line. I learned how to use them since I didn't want to waste them. To get a better application/reapplication, you have to apply in thin layers (2 or 3 layers for full protection) as to not get it in the hairline. It is pasty, but works for very pale skin like mine.
Perfect timing! I am in Florida (US), it is already time to use my higher SPF sunscreens. I have sensitive skin, so I enjoy your videos.
Omg the Purito sunscreen is my go to! It’s sooooo moisturizing, light and invisible on the skin. It is also one that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin! Also I love that there’s no scent.

@@SaraChimenti thank you! I saw that I wrote "sweet" lol
❤️Evy sunscreen mousse. I have tested all and this product is the most light weight, fast absorbing sunscreen. No stinging. No white cast. Affordable. Since I found this, I haven't use anything else ❤️
Ok I've been watching your videos recently and I'm so thrilled you're an Insomnia. I see the Dreamcatcher light stick box in the background 😍
I just picked up the Missha all Around Safe Block Essence SPF 45 and it works so wonderfully under makeup-no pilling, which had become my issue. My new goto!
Great video, loving the grey hair !!
I just wanted to say, I really love your channel!
I was literally going online to purchase this year new sunscreen, you go boss!
I really like the Everyday Human Oh My Bod SPF50 sunscreen. It rubs in easily and is really hydrating; I may use it as my moisturizer in the hotter months (thanks for the tip!).
Oooh, thanks for reviewing the AHC Masters sun stick. I’ve been looking at it because it’s water resistant but I’ve been hesitant because it’s only 14g so therefore kinda pricey. My current favorite for reapplication on my dry skin has been the Abib Quick sun stick. Update: the AHC Masters sun stick is my new favorite! It’s semi-matte, and feels lighter and silkier than the Abib Quick sun stick. Since it’s rated for 80-minutes water resistance, I’ll be using it more when the weather gets hot. The light scent is from bergamot and other citrus essential oils, which I like the smell of and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. It’s one of the few sunscreens I can use on my eyelids, and it doesn’t affect the way my eyeshadow wears. Yes, the packaging is nice but it uses excessive plastic for the small amount of product. I found out there’s a 22g size so I ordered that as a backup.
Our Universal tint on our Sunny Daze SPF is amazing 💙
Love this! More please
I have used a lot of sunscreens over the years, but I always come back to the Etude House Sun Dance SPF 50 sunscreen or Nivea Sensative SPF 50 one.
I finished Beauty of Joseon and love it so much. I told myself it would be my go-to but I can’t help myself in trying different products. Just opened d’Alba UV Water Essence spf 50 PA++++ and OMG. It is perfection!!!

@@bobbobbo5278 isn’t it amazing 🥹 I would say the d’Alba is a bit more moisturizing and I have to let it dry down if I’m applying makeup but can def skip moisturizing step. My skin type is pretty normal. Maybe since warm weather is approaching stick with BofJ and wait on colder months for d’Alba. Plus BofJ is more affordable ⭐️
I have been waaaaiting for you to review bondi sands skincare!!! I love their niacinamide
I’m so happy to see beet the sun is back!! I switched to Supergoop’s Every Single Face and I love it but it’s way pricier.
Loving the gray in the hair and beard! ❤️ Great sunscreen review too!
I needed this video - I’ve been rotating between Bondi Sands and Lagom and I’m not too keen about either one so I’m looking for another!
I love the Naturium dew glow. I get a light stinging on my eyes when it accidentally runs down. I love the Naturium on trips because I dont have to bring a moisturizer for the morning. I wish the other two sunscreen you mentioned (Krave and the other one) sold at Ulta or Sephora. My top 2 fav moisturizer with spa are the Fenty and now the Naturium.
💜 🖤 💗 Happy weekend James
great video! the search for good sunscreens feel never ending sometimes. the Dr G Nice Birdie Up Sun is a hybrid sunscreen not a purely mieral one tho, there are also chemical filters in it.

Thank you!! Always looking for my holy grail sunscreen. Supergoop unseen is the best I've found, but I've been testing more this year. And reapplication is so difficult! I've tried the powders and they're difficult

Where can I buy the AHC sun stick in the UK?
Yayyyyy I needed this, running out of my current sunscreen and I want to try something new!
I! JUST! LOVE! VIDEOS! ABOUT! SUNSCREENS! I love sunscreen 👍
Great information, thank you! I was wondering if you ever try the La Roche Posay UVMune sunscreens with their new UVA filter? They're just coming out with a few different oil control versions (gel-cream and fluid) and would love to hear your opinions on them.
I have the bondi sand, forgot all about it until I saw this review it’s brilliant.
Love sun sticks! I’m a mail carrier and my hands get covers and in dust. Using sun sticks apply is the best
The Bondi Sands Sunny Daze looks interesting! Any tinted SPFs I’ve used previously have been super eye stingy!
I can't get enough of Ultra Violette, I think they have released in the UK but I'm not sure. I use the Supreme Screen and Lean Screen - if you do see them available, I'd love to see you try them!
Holika Holika SPF 50 in a green tube. It's absolutely amazing, does not sting my sensitive eyes, goes on smoothly, is very lightweight. a must! :)
The Dr. G sunscreen looks so good. I'm definitely trying tgat one. I also want to try the Naturium one but it's not available here in the Philippines yet.
I got my first Holika Holika product(a black Snail toner) and omg it looks and feels super luxe, and the product feels really nice, and I found it at Marshall's for like $7🙌🙌🙌
Hope that you review the Anessa sunscreen soon too!
The Dr. G has a gorgeous finish on you!!
my current sunscreen is running low and I don't love it enough to buy it again so this is perfect
This is so helpful! The first three, the Bondi Sands, Krave, and Naturium, sound perfect for me. Do you have any recommendations for a reapplication sunscreen spray that doesn't contain alcohol? It's hard to retouch over makeup, and the few SPF powders don't suit me. Thank you! 😊
Great video, thanks for review of these, there are couple of those I do want to try.... I was surprised how Purito one sat nicely on your skin, ordered recently and have been trying for good few days now, it doesn't matter how i apply it to my skin (tried it by itself, over few diff serums and creams, just toner, nothing at all...) it makes my face look like a shiny/greasy 100 years old disco ball, and my skin is very very dry, so I don't understand why I got this effect... Very disappointing though cause only heard good reviews about it, but it will end up as my summer hand cream to use while im driving...
I'm so boring with my sunscreen nowadays. I love the Summer Fridays one, but it's not SPF50, so I didn't settle on it. I use La Roche Posay UVMune SPF50+ because it is the ONLY chemical sunscreen that doesn't sting my eyes. It's perfect. The only new thing I want to try now is their stick version, for re-application.
Might give the Bondi Sands one a go, seeing as I can grab it at the supermarket. I'll add some others to my next KBeauty online order :)

Yes, James looks so distinguished with the salt n pepper hair.
I really like Dr G products so will definitely try the sunscreen
15:20 It's likely that they're using an "SPF booster" which is basically just a chemical uv blocker. Labbmuffin has covered how many "mineral suncreens" actually are combination.
Sun cushions make me nervous but I am loving sun sticks to touch up
💞💞 Hello James 💞💞 Happy Friday 💞💞
“It is a bit lemon-cakey” … I knew EXACTLY what you mean. 🤣 🍋

Oh I’ve been wanting to try the Good Molecules sunscreen. As soon as my Joseon sunscreen is gone I’m buying that one
Coola has been my favorite for the last several years.. only one I don't burn through
Love the background. The new font is really hard to read although it is very cute.
It would be a cool extra feature is you use your UV camera thingy so we can see the coverage 😁
Skinceuticals Advanced Brightening SPF50 and La Roche-Posay UVMune400 Invisible Fluid SPF50 all the way ❤️
So many to choose from 😅
I bought the Naturium sunscreen because you said it didn't smell like sunscreen. I like the way it wears. Definitely not a strong sunscreen smell, but it's there. (I hate the smell of sunscreen lol)
You should check out the Numbuzin 2 tone up beige sunscreen. I have gone through BOTTLES of that. I think it may work nice on your skin tone. Have you seen the new Kopari Body Glow sunscreen? They have a gold and rose gold “gel/oil” texture I guess? They looks amazing on the body for summer but I wonder if they are actually any good or not.
Personally I love Evy technology daily defense face mousse spf50. I’m a welder and are exposed to a lot of UV during my working hours and it’s very convenient with a long lasting sunscreen, however I experience a little bit of stinging if I use it around the eyes but nothing is perfect🤷♀️
Skin79 - Waterproof Sun Gel BEST face sunscreen EVER I swear! The only issue with it is the damn packaging. I loathe the bottle with passion of thousand burning suns. If you are more than halfway through it's almost impossible to get it out, it's so hard to squeeze, the plastic is very hard and rigid and I always have to cut it open and re-pot the product somewhere else. But it's sooooo good and very affordable too! The BEST Korean sunscreen I would say.
I'm only interested in seeing how these perform in terms of which ones have the highest protection
I wonder if Dr. G has a inactive sunshield ingredient in it like Michelle from LabMuffin talks about? That may be why it doesn’t have a white cast?
because perfection doesn't exist 🤜🤛!!
Have you tried the reformulated Dear Klairs sunscreen? It looks super interesting!
The two pics in the thumbnail made me think this was gonna be you and Robert. I really do need that weekly reminder that yall are not the same perrrson!
Note on the Bondi sunscreen being tinted. I've been told/heard that mineral sunscreens can have that tint because of the minerals not because they are tinted. Don't know if it applies to Bondi as well.
We really need a mattifying compact pressed powder sunscreen hybrid. This probably exists, but I don't hear a lot about these kinds of "top-up" sunscreen products other than that brush on one from I believe Supergoop, which I feel doesn't press the powder sunscreen right onto the skin and instead just flutters it everywhere. My pet peeve is when I'm wearing makeup for outdoor events during the summer, and I need to blot the greasy looking or sweaty looking parts of the face, but it would be amazing if there was a high amount of sun protection too.
I'd live a video of the best SPF for oily skin under makeup, please! So many people want this and can't find it! But, we need to cover a few countries, e.g. Australia, EU, UK, USA & CAN etc.
Thank you for this, the reapplication on top of makeup is what concerns me. Can you do one where you spray, or something that won't destroy makeup thanks.

Spray is great in theory but in practice, they tell you to rub it in after spraying. Ick!
wish you would have explained why beet the sun had been originally discontinued as its important to be honest with your audience even if you may be friends with the brand's owner. transparency is appreciated
Ever tried Frezyderm? Super velvety and really nice
James have you ever tried and reviewed skin chemist products
I like the Naturium one, and I love that it's SPF 50 since most SPF moisturizers rarely go higher than 30. I find that it gets pretty dewy over time though, maybe a little moreso than I prefer.
The Bondi sands and Dr.G shock face🤣🤣🤣
Do you have experience with the Vichy tinted sunscreen? I've been contemplating buying it but it's expensive.
Dying at the unhinged wave
Have you done The Inkey List SPF? I bought it but I haven't used it yet but I haven't heard anything about it! X
Can anyone please tell me- does the Naturium sunscreen actually replace your moisturizer?? For combo skin? The only reason I’d consider replacing my beauty of Joseon with Naturium is if I could skip am moisturizer and save some time!!
Can you review sunscreen for the year? Best for summer Best for winter Best for body Best for the face With skin benefits Was just diagnosed with Lupus so sunscreen is a necessity. Trust your advice ❤
Have you tried any of the Bondi Sands Skincare range? It’s affordable & the ingredients seem decent, but I’m scared to try. 😂
