Testing Nelly Korda's TaylorMade Qi10 Max Driver Build!

Спорт

Nelly Korda is one of the best golfers in the world thanks in large part to her TaylorMade Qi10 Max driver with a Diamana GT 60S shaft. Nelly Korda is in the midst of a record-breaking season, despite playing a driver that many say is designed for high-handicap golfers. The TaylorMade Qi10 Max driver features a large clubhead and maximum forgiveness that many high-handicap golfers benefit from. But why is Nelly Korda using it?
In this video, 2nd Swing's Drew Mahowald is joined by Bella McCauley and Emma Carpenter to test and review Nelly Korda's TaylorMade Qi10 Max driver build. They give their initial thoughts on the driver and first impressions on its unique look.

Nelly's driver swing is pretty interesting. She likes to tee her ball lower, puts it in the middle of her stance, and hits a few degrees down. Makes sense she would add static loft. She also says never wants to hit anything but a draw with the driver so the slightly draw bias from the max makes sense too.

Thanks Drew, Bella, and Emma. I got to watch Nelly in her first professional win (Symetra Tour, in Sioux Falls, SD). It wasn't hard to see that Nelly was going to be good, as in really good.

I finally subscribed. Change of location, ball tracker, a lot more fun made for a winning format.

Great video. Loved the comments from all three of you. I would have liked to see some ball data. I wonder if the girls hit the ball further than their Titleist drivers. Very enjoy. Drew does a fabulous job of analyzing and bringing out the best comments.

TM drivers always look like they have less loft than stated

I have a pretty strong feeling that Nelly's driver is set up quite different by the TM Kingdom than an off the shelf driver/shaft combo. Good info shared by @EricGC9891

True, tour pros definitely have some finer details with their builds most of the time. All we have to go off of is what our friends at GolfWRX report from onsite!
