...I know exactly what you mean. The first time I heard my wife speak Spanish was awkwardly arousing and soothing at the same time. I love the different accents from around Mexico too. The sing-song one has to be a close favorite but the sports announcer from Mexico City is too. I haven't really heard all of them yet in detail, only sample snippets. So different but all the same language. Reminds me of the differences between Florida, Louisiana and Alabama contrasting those three separate accents against New York, Tennessee and Virginia. All the same language yet separately uniquely their own, even varying by cities. I don't know why but Spanish to me is dulce for the ears. The music, the poetry, the literature... I'm barely exploring the cinema in the last year or so. Omg, the telenovelas, 🤣 my god I definitely get it.
