    I debated grabbing my snowboarding goggles too. The cold wind in your eyes is pretty uncomfortable sometimes

    I live in chicago and use ebike as main mode of transport. This video, along with research i have also done for myself was extremely helpful. Canada typically gets colder than chicago from what i can see, so biking during winter shouldnt be that bad. 😊 thanks for the information man! Really helpful! 😊

    I think that at temperatures from +10 C and below would be a good to put insulating covers on the batteries, so they would not cool down so quickly while you drive. Storing and charging batteries at room temperatures would make them serve you longer.

    I do store and charge them indoors, but I've never thought to put insulating covers on them. I'll have to look into this! Thanks for leaving a comment :)

    What camera are you using? Looks very high quality. Also hows the bike holding up? Just sold my car to get an ebike and ive been eyeballing on this. Great video btw 🙂👍

    Thanks for this comment!! I shoot on the Sony A7III. The bike is holding up great. It's been almost 8 months since I sold my car and I don't regret it. You'll feel the money savings after the first month. The bike isn't the part that you need to worry about.... the hard part is preparing and bundling up to stay warm in the colder months. It gets really cold really fast when you're flying down the road on this thing. Make sure you have someone that can give you a ride or a backup plan for the days when the weather is just too bad to bike. If you're serious about buying this, check my Amazon storefront. I have it linked in the description of this video. Thanks for watching and dropping this comment :) I appreciate it!

    Do you think if the batteries died you could pedal for a distance?

  • @filming_with_jordan

    @filming_with_jordan

    2 ай бұрын

    If you absolutely had to.... yes. But it is a heavy bike. I've tried pedaling it before and it's quite exhausting. The good thing about it is that the battery life is very impressive. I've been riding mine to work and back for the past 2 years and the battery has NEVER died on me. I charge it once every 2 or 3 days

    @@filming_with_jordan how many km do you travel to work?

  • @filming_with_jordan

    @filming_with_jordan

    2 ай бұрын

    6km one way. So 12km round trip. I always go at PAS level 5 full speed (average around 46 km/h the full ride) I'm sure the battery would last even longer if I dropped down to level 3 or 4

    Hey dude, how did the bike handle inclines?

  • @filming_with_jordan

    @filming_with_jordan

    Жыл бұрын

    Thanks for the comment! Inclines slow it down for sure. I find that uphill on paved roads slows you down anywhere from 5-10 km/h. However, if you pedal more uphill the motor helps you crush most inclines. Does this help you?

  • @charleswhitewolf1949

    @@filming_with_jordan yes, yes it does. I'm a bigger ride and live in the city. And we mostly have flat lands. However, my other job takes me uphill a lot. So I'm looking for sturdy bike that can handle my weight, handle the range and more importantly handle inclines. But yours videos of the fucare Gemini x has been helping me make decision to get the bike or not. So I most definitely appreciate you answering. Please keep making vids.

    Glad I could help. Thanks so much for the positive feedback! It is worth noting that I've never tested it up steep hills. Only moderate inclines throughout town. Also, I'm a relatively light weight guy, so I'm sure those variables may play some factor. The bike itself is SOLID and very reliable from what I've experienced so far.

    bro i have a really important question does police care that ur riding a bike which goes above 50 km per hour and the motor power too cuz it is technically illegal plus do u get insurence for it and i dont see no number plate on your cycle does police care about this or not?

  • @filming_with_jordan

    @filming_with_jordan

    I think the question "do the police care" is something I can't answer. It all depends on the officer and your local enforcement. Personally, I've never had an issue. I think in most cases, the police have much more important matters to deal with than someone minding their own business on an ebike. That being said.... I do always use common sense and pay attention. In town or areas with lots of traffic/people, I always slow down to not draw unnecessary attention and stay safe. If I was going through the trouble of insurance and plates, I would just buy a small motorcycle.

    I wouldn't take that out with the batteries if it's greater than -10c. You will definitely shorten their lifespan.

    Thanks for stopping by to drop a comment and the advice! I've heard more people say the cold weather damages battery life & stamina. I rarely take it out in -10 degree weather. At that point, even with gloves and a face mask everything goes numb pretty quick!
