I agree. The other dogs probably didn't care they had a towel on them. But Peach Puppy was excited and wanted to play with it.

I think Marbles is just chilled and not as animated. He did point to the cup. He started wagging his tail when he saw the leash. He failed at the towel though lol.. though, he knew there were treats there. He wanted youuuuu to take em out. Quit spoiling him and he will be just as hyper-active LOL *needed to defend him for some weird reason..phew, now I can sleep*

Also when she put the food under the cup Marbles was behind the cups and when he was taken out of the room and brought back in he was on the other side. So that is like a whole other angle. However she put the treats under the cups for both Kermit and Peach when they were at the front, that same angle as when they had to retrieve them. I needed to defend him too, apparently. :)

I don't think it's a matter of intelligence, it's a matter of conditioning. She's spent their whole lives trying to get them to hold a pose and they're pretty good at it. From time to time you get out takes where the dogs won't stay where put though they'll be begging them to hold the position. All three dogs are doing they're best to stay where momma wants them, Paesch just isn't quite trained yet. It's not normal for dogs to like you holding their arms in certain positions yet she is constantly dancing with theirs so she's done it with them constantly. Did the test with my 6 month Boston Terrier (everyone else is still asleep) and she gets top scores. Towel came right off, the treat got lost under the towel but she found it in about 15 seconds (need bigger treats or smaller towel), cup thing was no challenge and she loves to see her leash even though she does most of her traveling in a shoulder bag. I guess wife named her right, Lucy. Just like ScarJo's character, she's using all of her brain! Which means all that Pee and Poop she puts in my house is NOT because she's dumb. !!!!! Now, morning snack is over and the grandkids are all still asleep, so I'm taking little Princess PeePee back to bed.

Peach wasn't spoiled rotten yet 😄.. Better survival skills.

I HIGHLY disagree with the first towel test. I don't see how that has anything to do with intelligence, the dogs are clearly just really comfortable with their owner (Jenna) and trust her. If anything THAT shows intelligence. The treats under the cup challenge was pretty cool, I might try that with my dogs.

Yeah she was just following the rules lol. Just like they should have said depending on the size thats the size you should get for the towel/blanket. You're not going to put a giant towel/blanket over a small dog. xD Same for the treat one.

Jenna!! I'm sure you have better things to spend money on but I think it would be hilarious and simultaneously thought-provoking if you hired a pet psychic. Marbles might not be the smartest but I bet he has deep emotional insights.
