Ohhhh, be still my heart, you have the most WONDERFUL gift of giving almost EVERY new or new to me scent life while sharing its performance! It’s AMAZING, YOU’RE AMAZING ❤️. I just don’t know how you do it but you truly give life to all the fragrances I can’t even begin to describe, I seriously can’t count the number of people I’ve told to watch your videos! Despite being a Consultant I know my thoughts and descriptions of scents is poor at best, especially when it comes to those I can’t see myself ever melting any longer than necessary to get a “feel” for its overall scent or longer than it takes to make samples as I do for almost every scent that’s released, but if it’s a scent I don’t like no matter how hard I try to “tough it out”, I always end up taking it out long before it’s gone through all the layers so many Scentsy’s bars cycle through long has before it loses its scent, especially if the scent causes my family or myself to get a headache or kicks our allergies into high gear! I seriously have just tried to give them my limited overall thoughts as to whether or not it smells like the notes as described by Scentsy, my thoughts as to whether or not I think they’d enjoy it based on their scent preferences and then given the a link to your channel if they wanted an in-depth, non biased description of the scent and its performance. I only sell to very close friends and family because I question my ability to EVER be a Consultant that can get to the level you’ve not only achieved but more than exceeded. I feel like I’d be “failing” not only potential Customers but Scentsy by not being able to adequately describe the scents without being biased🙈😪. I hope someday to find myself better able to help EVERY potential Scentsy customer, until then I have no problem sharing your name, your videos and hopefully helping gain customers for both you and Scentsy and hopefully helping your channel grow. My hat’s off to you, YOU ARE THE BEST❤️. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, I often just close my eyes and listen to your review, it’s like being transported to a place filled with the scent you’re describing❤️. AMAZING, YOU’RE SIMPLY AMAZING 🤩 My vote’s for this week are “Ode to Opulence” and Amber Road! But I’m soooo curious, how does “Sharp Dressed Man” compare to “My Hero”, “Mystery Man” or “Perfect Gentlemen”? I actually love to use scents that tend to lean toward manly or a freshly showered man in my master and guest bathroom’s, they’re part of my rotation of clean laundry type scents like “Clothesline” and “Clean Breeze”. How does Oats and Honey compare to Apples and Oats? Somehow I accidentally removed Apple’s and Oat’s from my club 😵🤯🤯 so I was hoping Oats and Honey could be used as either a replacement or at least a base used toward creating a mix with something so I wouldn’t have to hoard or use with extreme caution the last 10 bars of Apples and Oats I have in my stash….. I honestly don’t know how it happened, I know it wasn’t on “purpose” but Apple’s and Oats, a bar I used to accompany so many other scents isn’t in my club…. I guess it’s my first true Scentsy heartbreak 💔 🙈😪💔 I know I’ve definitely become “scent blind” to so many scents, I know they smell good because everyone who steps foot in my house tells me how wonderful it smells but I can’t smell most scents longer than a the first few hour’s when they’re really pumping out a lot of scent. I’ve been trying to use scents I normally wouldn’t use outside my bedroom or mixing old favorites with other scents so I “desensitize” myself to my favorite bakery blends, but either I’m doing it wrong or I’ve completely lost the ability to smell them because nothing seems to be helping me smell the strong, in your face cinnamon forward scents that I used to enjoy, like Walnut Raisin Muffin…. Any suggestions? I’ve taken quite a few out of my “melting bin” but my fear is more that I’m blocking anything that’s cinnamon heavy, which is like in every single one of my favorite bakery blends, honestly cinnamon is in almost every Fall/Christmas scents…. So, I have discovered a new appreciation for scent’s like Cozy Cardigan, Pink Cotton, Toasted Marshmallow, Apple Butter, Butter Pecan as well as a deeper love for strong mint forward and even found a new favorite bakery blend which is a mix of 1 cube to 1 cube of Sugar Cookie and Vanilla Waves😍😍 but also been reminded why I don’t like anything with a strong cherry scent. Hopefully with all the new BBMB’s and with the new catalog scents, I’ll find myself loving lots of new scents I may never have given a fair chance because they were outside my love of hardcore bakery scents! Great video, thanks again for sharing your thoughts, you, as always, did an AMAZING job giving life to the scents you reviewed!

Wow, I don’t really know what to say except thank you! With regards to going nose blind or your nose needing MORE and more or STRONGER and stronger scents, if you can I’d do a scent detox. Stop melting for 1-2 weeks if you can. (I can’t because my channel would not have content) Even a few days with nothing may help. 🤷‍♀️ Apple and oats is more overall fruity gourmand bakery (a bit of both worlds) and oats & Honey is like that primitive country store (upscale) crisp bakery cookie that you pay more💰 for as compared to grocery store cookies

I totally agree with you about the similarities between Mighty Pine and the Disney bar. I smelled them side by side because I was having a hard time telling them apart on cold. So, so similar. I used one cube each in two warmers and got about 16 hours out of them. Not bad but not as long as some other evergreen scents. Thanks for sharing!!

I found phase 1 of the scent was strong and then phase 2 not so strong but I think because I melted it in bedrooms I could smell that part. In my open area phase 2 would have just gotten lost.

Ode to Opulence and Dulce de Lèche. I love your descriptive scent stories. Also loved the shout-out to the Carolinas which is my neck of the woods. 😄

Ode to Opulence and Dulche de Leche, please! Agree with your description of Disney's Season of Magic bar, although you were much more descriptive than I would be. :) Really strong out of the gate with a lovely pine & slightly sweet smell. Day 2 the intensity was quite light in my home, maybe in the 4-5 ballpark and at that point all I could smell was a sweet berry mixed with a hint of greenery. I changed it out after that point because I just wanted the sweet pine to come back. :) Of all the pine/tree scents that Scentsy has released this season, I believe Season of Magic is my favorite.

Scents that divide a marriage can be tricky!

Voting for Amber Road and Ode to Opulence. I'd be curious to know how Amber Road compares to Amber Hollow if you've ever smelled that one. I just got my club order 2 days ago consisting of nearly 30 scents most of which are new to me, so I haven't had the chance to warm the Disney season of magic bar yet, but on cold it does smell like a fresh laundry or soap kind of scent. Can't wait to see how the fragrance develops when warmed based on your description! I also got Toasted Acorn & Oak, Joy & Wonder, Spiced Eggnog and Spiced Apple Chestnut (and a couple others) based on your videos and LOVE them all! Especially Joy & Wonder which is staying in my club. Thanks for all your informative videos! They've helped me to branch out and try other scents that wouldn't normally be purchases for me based on Scentsy's descriptions. Normally I stick with apple, spice and pine scents even during summer LOL!

I’m glad my descriptions are helping you select scents. Those types of comments make my day! From past experience Amber Road is 10x better than Amber Hollow and I would say they don’t smell alike. Amber Hollow is very strong and divisive and smells like strong savoury food spices and a dark amber…and Amber Road is more well rounded and liked or loved by many.

Dulche de Leche and Bubblegum get my votes this round. Looking forward to this BBMB in January - lots of good choices!

We had Oats & Honey melting when we had an Open House in our old house! Got lots of comments on how homey it smelled! We sold our house with the clean scent of White Tea & Cactus though!
