@@evilronusa1825 Interesting to hear because to me Brotherhood of the Snake didn't have a single moment stuck in my head at first listen, while Dark Roots had multiple instantly memorable moments like the chorus of Native Blood, the breakdown of Throne of Thorns, the solo of True American Hate, the post-solo riff in A Day in the Death.
My neighbours lov this song so much that last night they threw a brick right in my front room windows so they could hear it better

Trash metal was great in the 1980s but too many bands started doing this stuff and it got way oversaturated. One of the reasons for Therion completely changing their sound so they wouldn't be labeled as a 3rd rate thrash metal band. Metal needed a change and we got this prog metal stuff from bands like Tool, Opeth, Primus and many others in the 1990s. Than this symphonic metal from bands like Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica and others was another healthy alternative to metal. A different and unique style by Meshuggah with their unique blend in metal in the early 2000s was mindblowing. More prog metal from other bands like Mastodon in the 2000s kicked ass. This progressive groove metal by Gorjira in the 2000s and 2010s killed the game as well and this band called Jinjer is doing their own version of progressive groove metal as well in the last 8 years. Celtic folk metal by Eluveitie and some others is also a unique blend on metal. Testament, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrex, and old Metallica I loved in the 1980s but for myself this thrash metal has taken a backseat in my opinion with all these newer blends of metal since the 1990s to today. But unfortunately whether we like thrash metal as our favorite style of metal or any of these other styles of metal, metal is being pushed aside by the mainstream and being replaced by this electro techno programming dance shit in pop music with this shit being mixed with not just rock but also with metal. Fall Out Boy, Twenty One Pilots, Babymetal, Poppy, Imagine Dragons? This is the shit that the mainstream is pushing on young adults today and unfortunately way too many of these young adults think that this is how pop, rock and metal should sound. Programming techno instruments with autotune singing in rock and metal? Young adults love this shit for some reason.
Sounds awesome. That bass oh the bass. Eric's vocals are great addition too.

Efren Ventura , I turn 50 next month and have been listening to metal since the genre started. In fact I am part of the tape trading generation. I started playing metal as a guitarist in the early 80's and played with little success until the mid 90's. I saw all of these bands multiple times in the 80's and since. So I have seen them grow from the beginning of their careers. Not bragging about being old, just a little background info on me. I have been there and done that in the metal world. You are totally correct in what you say. These older guys that are still killing it album after album deserve respect. All of them do. I couldn't imagine being so good, so relevant for so long. And we will start losing these guys sooner or later. How long before all the remaining early era guys start dropping. Ozzy is in pretty bad shape and many of his generation are already gone. Most of our metal pioneers are 10 to 20 years older than I am. That's 60 to 70 years old. And the rockstar lifestyle isn't an easy one anyway. I am so glad that all of these guys are still putting out solid product.

Testament never disappoints. Thanks for always putting out quality metal music guys. \m/
Best thrash band ever from beginning to present time, and Chucks voice never disappoints.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💀💀💀
Getting to hear Dave Lombardo play this was awesome on a level I may never experience again. The audience went off like a bomb after the first "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaall night", it got so crazy it made Chuck laugh
Testament nunca decepciona mesmo!!! Melhor banda do mundo SIM!
God Damn They still have IT!!! This is exactly what I want from Testament. They have always been at their best when they write fast aggressive songs. While their slower and more melodic stuff is not bad it's not what they excel at.

I disagree i think they just excel at everything, period.

@@L1FEL1KE02 Alright I stand corrected, that was a pretty damn good song as well, I just went and listened to it. I will say that the only other slow/melodic song that I do LOVE from Testament is trail of tears off of LOW. The guitar riffs, solos, and melodies are so emotionally moving and given Chucks heritage the lyrics and vocal performance really does alot to carry the gravitas of the song.

Oh chuck billy never change. Only he can make lyrics like this sound epic and badass. Testament still has it. Love this tune. Can't wait for the album.
His voice is so sick in this song, it’s so gritty and that makes it so good
What an absolutely stomping track, I haven't stopped listening to it since it came out🤘

I have seen Testament live twice now...they remain my favorite Thrash band
Still remember being a young teen in the spring of 1988 and going in to Sam The Record Man on Young st in Downtown Toronto and seeing the cassette tape for 'The New Order' and buying it for the artwork alone. It was my first time hearing them....... Must have replaced it another 4-5 times from wearing it out. Been a die-hard fan ever since.
