The song ' you're somebody else' is so good that I left vocab and went to the song. Btw these vocab explanations in the end are super helpful since I get exhausted easily with flashcards.

Hey Greg, In question 26, disruptive and unruly are both synonyms, so I think disruptive would also be correct.

One of the meanings of astringent according to Google is - "Sharp or severe in manner or style". I concluded from this that this could mean stern and by extension, also serious. Turned out to be caustic haha. Hmm, seems like vocab needs more of my attention. Got a 26/30.

Thank you so much!💫Very useful explanations 🗣 especially with # 23 This tool is more versatile than others. Although I selected ‘multifaceted’ I almost select ‘utilized’. You gave a very good explanation on this one💫 🧐I will be aware of that GRE trick 👍🏻

Hi! I just took the GRE and my scores are kinda...embarrassing. I went in feeling confident but got thrown off by the test pattern (instead of Verbal Quantitative verbal quantitative, it went quantitative verbal quantitative verbal) Im currently attending a college that has no required GRE for the graduate program and wonder if I should get three professors to recommend me for the program instead of the usual two and maybe speak with the head of the education as to whether they want me to get at least a 150. (The unofficial scores confused me though so I wanted to know, are the official scores higher compared to the unofficial? For example, if one were to score a 140 would they actually have a 145?) Hope you can help! Thank you :)

Hi Sanie, we don’t always do well on the first attempt. No need to feel embarrassed. The scores you saw at the end of the test will be the scores you receive in about 10 days. It is very unlikely that they will change. The good news is you might not even need to take GRE. Regarding the letters of recommendation, you should probably call and find out if you can give three.

@@gregmat8036 Thank you! I got in contact with the admissions office prior to taking the GRE and all they told me was there was no specific GRE score, but because it became a requirement back in 2019 they had to comply. Thank you again, I feel a little better!

Just checked the dictionary, I think the word 'exacting' is more close to onerous and 'meticulous' is close to careful.

You’re not wrong...ETS likes to mess around with words that have multiple definitions though. www.thesaurus.com/browse/exacting If you click om this link and look under ‘careful’ there, you’ll see meticulous.
