its taking on more water before the first rinse to prevent fabric shock. nearly all machines do it on a boil wash before the first rinse

Did you miss the screw popping out at 7:51? I kind of like and hate this machine at the same time - I like the concept, but hate the execution of it and all that cheap plastic.

Wow fantastic work! Been following this for a couple of weeks! If the software was available do you think it would be fit to contra rotate ?

Nope. It was clear from the disassembly video that contra rotation will not work again

Contrarotate or bust.
