3 useful tip from me: 1 the paint is easy to scratch, get an cheramic coating all over before taking it out of the shop, concider also transparent wrap where your knees touches the "tank". 2 if your weight is above a standard Japan person ride with passanger + luggage as default. 3 the glass over the dails and Satnav screen must never be touched by human hands, it gets scratches Just by looking at it. Beside this its an awsome bike

I’ve been on a Rebel 500 since I’ve started. Perfect for just about everything, and I’ve been both a passenger and a rider on a friends DCT GW. It is, without hyperbole, the most comfortable experience I’ve ever had a any mode of transportation besides my own two legs. I took it from a suburb outside of Philadelphia to the Poconos and back, about 400 miles round trip,!and I’ve never had a better experience on a bike. It’s like going down a road sitting on an expensive sofa at 70mph. I would caution something though. It does lull you into a false sense of the riding experience of other bikes. After that Gw trip, I had to get back on my Rebel 500, and I honestly, I don’t have the 25k to upgrade into the best riding experience on two wheels. If you can afford it, you will have no better riding experience. This is for the rider who enjoys the peace of the air and the relationship between you and your ride. For any other purpose, get something less. It’s literally a land barge in two wheels, and it feels like it. With that being said, you won’t have a more comfortable riding experience. Though as a final bit of caution, make this the last bike you get. Take it from someone who has made ample use of a more approachable Honda beginner bike. You really won’t want to ride anything else.

considering trading in my 2014 HD electra glide ultra limited... Sat on the 2023 goldwing this past weekend... the difference in the center of balance is noticable...Like he mentioned, those of us getting up in age may start having issues with arthritis and other joint issues with supporting a heavy v-twin, especially when two-up. The difference in exhaust dB will be noticable too... even with earplugs, the cobra race pro slip-ons I put on the Harley can still get tiring on all day rides... think Im ready to make the change 😛😛

This 6th gen wing can take you to the moon and back and you will still smile. Mine spoiled me so badly that I really don't know what else I could ride, if I would sell it tomorrow. That's why, I think, Goldwing till I can't ride anymore. I love every min of this bike. The DCT is a smart transmission that Honda designed so well. It just works perfect, if you like semi/auto shifting. I love it. 2024 might be coming out with some great safety options. If you have the money, this bike is a no brainer. I have 15K on my 2020 and I have not had even a tiny problem.

I just traded my 2022 Goldwing DCT tour for an Indian Chieftain Darkhorse. I loved the Honda DCT and rode it 9000 miles in the 10 months I owned it without issue. But I am real happy to go to The Indian with big aircooled twin. And a clutch does give you more control and more fun in the long run. I'll buy another Goldwing DCT when they do more about the electronics package which is woefully outdated.

I have a 2018 DCT. I have a few minor gripes with it. The built-in nav is bad. Getting Android Auto to connect is touchy. The factory grips are too thin. The glove box gets too hot for your phone. Nav is sort of fixed by using Android Auto. I have a wireless adapter for Android Auto and that sort of helps with the connection being touchy. I found an inexpensive set of foam over grips that fit over the factory grips and those help. I'm still looking for a fix for the hot box though. All in all, I love the bike. It's great for long trips.

Hi, I tried both, the 2023 K1600 GTL is more top heavy, noisy gear shifting BUT FASSSTER, this is a rocket :), it doesn't have Android Auto and Apple Car play and you need a cel that fit in the compartement and the phone is used for navagation, I didn't like. Goldwing DCT easier to drive, but not perfect yet, integrated nav sucks and cel compartement doesn't lock but other than that, the Wing wins for me, the best motorcycle.

Lake George, NY. Every year there’s a rally there called Americade. Basically 3 days of demos. Very low key rally compared to anything like Sturgis. Gets you very hands on and close up with manufacturers and the latest bike releases. Great rally to go to if you get a chance!

Not sure about the futuristic looks, to me it seems to be an evolution of the previous design just 20 years later, I personally prefer the Goldwing vs the tourer (don't like the portions of the tourer). I wish they hadn't made it as small as they did, I have the previous model f6b and it gives me the expected feel for the typ of bike that it is. If someone wants a sport tourer then they should buy one, if someone wants a tourer they should have that witb a Goldwing...

I saw the KZread video on it. I’ve been waiting for that 2000cc for a long time. They supposedly increased the size of the side bags and solved the connectivity issues with the Bluetooth. It also has a larger LED information screen. Among other improvements. I’m also interested to see what the price increase will be.

Test rode one today. I did not like it at all. The exhaust note under acceleration is not pleasant and after an hour my hands were tingling from the high frequency vibration. It was going to be my next motorcycle, but not any longer. I was very disappointed. The DCT was nice, but I didn't care for all the clicking and clunking. The operation was good though. The ride is nice, but the exhaust sound...not for me.

My 2 biggest issues with Goldwings are 1. the archaic navigation system. At this price point and with Honda's brainpower, they should've improved this long ago. Almost every 'Wing rider I've known still has to buy and install an aftermarket Nav system for use when on this bike. Honda knows this, but doesn't care and simply refuses to address it. 2. Lack of lean angle. One doesn't have to be a racer to hit lean angle limitation during the normal course of traveling, especially with a passenger. The onboard computer controlled levelling and suspension modes are good, but not next level. The bike has very little lean angle when compared to other luxury cruisers. BMW's Dynamic ESA system control is a good standard to measure against. Hell, even the Africa Twin equipped with EERA is even more adjustable for height and clearance. If Honda could make some headway on at least 1 of these issues, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Just my 2 cents.....

@@MOTOBLADE Yeah, the sad thing is, most of the die hard Goldwing guys are probably dying. I never liked them until the last Gen in 2018. I used to call them Leadwings. I had a Yamaha Venture Royale in 83, and I would ride circles around those ‘Leadwings’.😂. I got into Harleys when the 80in.Evo came around in 90. They didn’t leak oil anymore are were GD bulletproof. I put 95 thousand miles on my 1990 Ultra with zero motor issues. Then I bought the first year the FI came on the Evo in 96. I’ve only been interested in the Wings since I rode the DCT. I’ve heard the 24’s are going to have more storage, 2000CC, and ACC, and rear camera with lane assist. Even then, it’s still going to be $10K less than an equivalent Glide.

I have to disagree with you on this seat. It is one of the worst seats ever too hard. I feel as though all the money the Honda charge for the bike they could’ve put better engineering into the seat. I wanna mini that agrees that this seat is horrible. It’s too hard and they save the seat brakes and after 200 miles. Well I put 300 miles on my bike, and I never was able to ride more than 45 minutes without the seat feeling like somebody kicked me in the rear end. I swapped it out for Corbin seat greatest seat ever. This isn’t my first bike so I have much experience when it comes to stocks seats. Overall, the bike itself is awesome.

I can see the DCT being good for some people; however, my issue with the Goldwing is that its so ugly, its not the ugliest bike, but its close. The Victory Vision still hold the title for the ugliest bike made, the Goldwing is the 2nd ugliest but moving up to 1st since the Victory Vison production was stoped.
