Tried the ION air Pro on a DJI Phantom 2 drone... it was attached underneath the Phantom (with shocking absorbents) . Nerveless there is a lot of Jello in the video. After stabilze the video in Adobe Premiere this video is the result.
The live WiFi connection is shocking on a mobile device. The range is around 10 meter max so you can't fly far with live image.
The price of the ION camera is around the €170 euro.
If you wanna buy a action camera for a drone you better can buy something else. The camera is heavy and the video image is not great.
