Test firing the M3 Belt Fed .50cal

Ойын-сауық

On a recent trip to the USA, a good friend of mine asked me if I would like to fire some of his weapons on the back of his property. I said yes only to discover he had a Browning .50cal. This is that afternoon.

An M3 .50 cal... A heavily modified gun fitted to be used by jets that's supposed to be shooting twice the RPM of the m2 ... But for some reason it's semi-auto.... Omg it hurts but also jealous.

Unfortunately, infringement commenced with the "National Firearms Act" of 1934*. If we are going to tear down monuments in America, we ought to focus on any erected to the traitorous signers of that legislation! *During the first term of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the federal government was overwhelmingly staffed by Democrats. Appealing to urban populations, they used the social upheaval of the Great Depression and the crime it spawned to manipulate people into forfeiting their constitutional rights--sound familiar?

I wonder if it's like the M2 50 caliber, where the bull latch release has to be locked down at the rear of the oil buffer access on the back plate of the 50 Cal , Because if the bolt latch release is not locked down, the bolt will stay to the rear each time the weapon is fired. As well, somebody mentioned head spacing and timing gauges, Machine gun maybe just wildly out of battery, if the barrel screwed into tightly or too loose, the machine gun will not fire. Those are the old M2 50 cows, the new M2HB I believe has set head spacing, no cranking in the barrel into the receiver and screwing around with gauges

+polishjerk yeah I know, but for me that is boring, waste of money. a 50cal Barrett is way more fun and you can use it for more stuff, compared it to this block of steel. I mean in a worst case scenario, you even cant defend yourself with that, with a Barrett you could, even when it's heavy and bulky. do I am the only one that is thinking this 50cal is useless?

  • @steveleeilikeguns

+hanf022 The point is to do it because you can. This is the the USA. We can only dream of being able to have anything like this in Australia, besides that, these guys have the option of having the Barrett as well as this exceptional piece of machinery. I think you could defend yourself with this in many circumstances, depends on how many people are coming for you.

pop can, flip lid, slap top off, hinge in first and drop. either open feed tray lay first round in lock close feed tray palm up rack back once or with feed tray closed lock first round in lock palm up rack once for locked them again for locked and loaded the ma deuce is where locked and loaded comes from. slide safety off with right pointer finger pull back on spade grip aim then with both thumbs depress butterfly. fyi if that brass is hot do not let a live round fall in the pile you could get a cook off. that's not good it's like a grenade going off. had a couple frantic searches in brass bags for a live round at night it burns and it sucks...alot. hope it was fun and God bless.
