How do you make the engine to stop turning off when the car is stopped?

the car comes equipped with Auto engine start/stop which shuts of the ignition when the car is on idle and will automatically start the engine when you put your foot on the Gas pedal , it is quite useful during traffic signals it is for increasing fuel efficiency and to stop wasting fuel.
