No one should ever hack up a dash like that

Personally I like my old cars slightly beaten up looking when I sit on the inside I can see, smell and feel the last 60 years of its life. Cracks and peeling on the paint, seats, steering wheel, knobs and dashboard make it more beautiful.

That shifter needs a new bushing kit for the linkage.

I would call that a bodymans special mechanical is sorted needs a few tweaks but needs blown apart stripped body worked and painted

That car has a lot of stories to tell. Reminds me of the cars we drove back in the day, when we couldn't afford better.

Definitely a great deal on this one ! Brings back a lot of memories ! It needs a little attention , but not much ! Even an old man like me could have this baby ready for the car show by the weekend . I would take that gear shift and put a little heat to it and offset it away from the seat . You never did check the heat and A/c Be interesting to see if it blowed cold air for the summer . Thanks Brother Man My wife’s out of town if she was here I would have her have that baby sent to my house . She be home for the weekend ,I’m going to buy some roses and champagne And if you still have it Saturday I’m going to have you ship it to Virginia

I had a 64 impala I put my gauges under the the dash never ever in the dash that dash is too hard to repair

That dash is tops! You just don't see a character like that today. Cool old car at a starting price level. I hate being this broke paying new high car payments.

$40K may be enthusiastic, but you WILL be on the positive side of the ledgers! 😊 Depending on your skill set, you can do most of this on your own. If you are fortunate enough to have the space, take her all apart & get on with a rotisserie restoration. They are not as expensive as you think they are, but you get a much better job done because you have easy access to almost everything you need to get to! 😊 I may have to get something similar, but much closer to home. I’m on the west side of the continent and in Canada!! 😂😂.

It’s the filler neck on the tank its not the tank leaking. Yes you are correct will we not be replacing the tank. This is how the car is take it or leave it

This 64 impala is better than the one in the showroom. Needs paint and get rid of the antenna on the left rear only supposed to have one. All those gauges on the dash look stupid.

its a jalopy..my dad had it when new 327v8 auto 4 door impala i drove it many timesa whopping 250hp

I like the rims but would probably change them to old school steel's more of og. look . Also find an og steering wheel .I would also lose the trailer ball and duel antennas .

I don't know why someone would accuse you of lying? You point out just about every obvious flaw and tell everything that is or isn't working. You show the undercarriage so everyone sees the oil leaks and rust. You're basically doing the buyer's job for them.
