I think them not talking to each other or see each other anymore proved that enough. All they had together was skating. And all of it it's because of Scott, Tessa deserves better.

Oh for the public show? How very brief is one show compared to the hours and hours and hours of rehearsals and time alone together.

It's not a romantic relationship, you have to accept that. What it actually is, is just PURE LOVE. The kind of love that makes it through a storm and makes it out alive. The kind of love where without the other person they can't breathe. Love doesn't necessarily mean they have to be dating and get married. It just means that they will stay at each other's side for as long as they live.

Everything you said is true. And they are very lucky to have that. To find someone that gets you like no one else,to have someone there for you no matter what, someone that doesn't ask you anything...it's rare as hell! Altought i think it could be something else,there are romantic relationships that could be deep and pure and there are deep friendships that could turn into something else,better even than the friendship before.But that is not always the case,sometimes it can end really bad and the friendship is ruined forever,maybe they love each other too much to risk it. Whatever it is they have it's beautiful and unique to watch❤

I actually don't care if they are romantically together or not... the connection they have gives me life. It's so much purer than any romantic film, I swear.

I completely agree with you! And even Tessa said that she thinks that maybe part of the special connection and chemistry they have comes from the fact that they were never a couple

Could you imagine? They have been doing this together since before they were 9, They couldn't possibly have had a normal life growing up. Not just that but an intense and unique one. *There is literally no one on the planet who could understand Scott better than Tessa and Visa Versa!* I don't think their relationship is romantic or familial, but something that *truly goes beyond that.*

Here's what I know...they have been in the public so long and their fans are all over their story because they look so intimate on the ice. I would have to have something that was private. Scott has made a lot of slips,Tessa has not. There's a video of Scott in an interview stating that Tessa was restless at night when she sleeps,lol. She gave him the side eye. TMI...now exactly how would he know how restless she sleeps unless he was beside her. So anyway- that's a boyfriend or husband comment because there is intimacy. Actually , I just want to see them skate together as many times as possible.Tessa drapes her body around Scott effortlessly. I have never seen anything like it...so beautiful to see. The only other skaters with this much chemistry are Vanessa James / Morgan Cipres. Fans want them to get married too. I just hope they are happy because that much chemistry deserves a happy ending whatever they choose to do. It's just magical to watch.

It's very rare to see someone smile as much as Tessa does when she's with Scott

Even if they’re not romantically together, I feel like their love is so precious and special

All I’m gonna say is Soulmates. they are soulmates.

I don't care anymore if they're not a couple. I just want them to keep on dancing together. Their magic is on ICE, not in real life! To end a glorious partnership after 22 years just like THAT is almost a crime! Torvil & Dean were never a couple, but they continued to dance together for 38 years. Why can't Scott & Tessa?

Scott, you are love poetry... you love Tessa...and you express it in the most beautiful way...with tender. with respect with delicacy, with proud and admiration, with passion and strength.. You are a beautiful young man and gentleman. I can't understand why you are not about to marriage yet...if you both together express to crowd the most beautiful and pure feelings of love..

People never want anything what is right in their face. I do not think that they had never felt more than friends-love during more then 20 years. It will be the moment in the future, when they will find out how they feel for each other, now they are separated. Pressure and hard work stoped, they never have to see each other again. In my opinion it was not fake. It was unconditional love which was so natural for they could not realised it, or never had the courage to take it. We will see what the future will bring into their lifes. We have to live with their choice too. By the way, it would be fairy tale come true if they would find each other again. Not on the rink. Not for a role. Not for work. Not for the crowd but for love to live in real life far away compliance constraint. I hope they find themself free. Best is yet to come!

Really great marriages begin with really great friendships.

Sometimes, stopping the beginning of a relationship going to the next level is the best choice if you want to stay with that person forever.

I'm glad there are many videos of them both together. I didn't see them at this years Olympic skating event or any other event. They are like the hidden diamonds in the mine that were finally found. Now I will have to keep watching romantic skating videos while I recuperate from my broken toe.

A mi francamente me parece que el amor era fuerte fuerte de ambos , pero no supieron msnejarlo . Scott era impulsivo ... Y se equivocó por exigirle demasiado a ella . El hecho que Scott se desapareció demuestra lo mucho que le afectó, y que fue el que se equivocó mas . Aunque ambos tomaron rumbos distintos . Como muchas historias de amor , no terminó bien , y creo en el fondo aue nunca se olvidaran.

Beautifully said. I don't know if you have seen their post retirement videos and Scott's interviews since he's been coaching. He does bring up that dark time when she was going through her first surgery and they didn't speak to each other for 2 months. I know he feels deep regret. He's brought it up to one of his teams he coaches as well. Maybe he senses something about that time period. I just feel for both of them on so many levels. Navigating so much. even now post retirement with their respective marriages, career, and not seeing and physically being together like before. I'm sure they still go through things emotionally when it comes to each other and their "soulmate" connection.
