Property tax is actually a land lease. My house is paid off but if I would fail to pay my property taxes the taxing authority would claim it and I would lose it.

I saw another video of a woman who had to sell her $450K house right after she bought it because she'd gotten laid off from her high-paying job. She was devastated. How will people even qualify for a 30-year mortgage when it's getting harder and harder to hold down a reliable job for that long? I'm glad I got my house paid off already. It was only by the grace of God that I was able to do it.

Young people don't want to work because their income doesn't even cover rent... no matter how many hours you work.

I have worked a job where my schedule was 4 ten hour days a week. I loved it! I still worked 40 hours per week but within 4 days. My son has worked 12 hour days, 3 days one week, 4 days the next week. Every job doesn’t fit into the 5 days / 8 hours a day mold.

Ch.ina is graduating 'STEM' students at a rate of 100 to 1 vs us 🇺🇸 . We are graduating 'Gender Studies' students at a rate of 10,000 to 1 vs Ch.ina.

Toyota Camry gets 43 mi per gallon on the highway they are comfortable cars. Hybrids get about 50. They are not comfortable at all no head room

Easier to get to the Soup kitchens - when I lived out of my car - it was also easier to date as long as the back set has high ceiling to not bump when im on top. If I liked the guy - I'd have him stay the night by making the back seat a bed. Also easier to break up with guys who are crazy - I'd just drive and park somewhere else

Freind of mine just bought a tesla.. Won't listen to reason. Insurance rates tripled. Difficult to find a shop that will even touch it..

The four day work week means a four day, 10 hour per day work week. Still adds up to 40 hours, but it's one day less of wear and tear on your car, burning fuel to get to work, traffic, etc. The four day week is not less work than a 5 day week, just less commuting. Working that kind of week and then working overtime is still possible if you and your employer want to do that.

I don't understand why people work hard for companies that teach you skills that are worth nothing to another company.
