I wonder if the vertical regen bar can be made horizontal again.

After I got the update on my 2023 MY I stood behind my car with my hands full looking like a fool. Was dancing all around hoping the trunk would automatically open. Now I know it can do that. lol

@@iowateslanewer version of bluetooth is far more precise. Can’t implement it with the bluetooth on older cars. Doubt it can be implemented with camera. Would be too hard to tell if it’s actually the person supposed to be able to ipen

I have a 2023 Model Y LR with the AMD CPU and I'm still waiting for the Spring Update. It would've been nice to see how to view the navigation display when in park. When I'm charging on the road, I often go into the navigation display to look at route details, etc. I'm guessing there is an icon to press on the park display to bring up the map and nav search box? Other than the car image displaying larger and in more detail, does the park/home screen offer any advantages over the previous UI?

First time Tesla owner here. Got my Model Y 3 weeks ago. Still no V12 update. Why does it take so long?

The dust on your screen kept on making me want to clean my phone 😂😂

If your coming from a store with packages how do you open the trunk without using the inside screen? I cannot find the button is it hidden under the trim? Seems silly to have to go into the car with packages. Im a total noob so excuse me if im missing the step.

Is v12 only for cars that have FSD? I have a 2024 MY long range awd but no self driving. Will I still be able to get it?

My 2018 model 3 long range is on version 11.1 software am I going to get version 12 software?

I have it and the biggest complaint is the regen bar is hard to see going on the left vertical rather than the top horizontal very hard to visualise and that is a pity as I often check it and now to difficult to see.

I have a 23 Model 3 Performance w/ FSD. Haven't gotten the update yet. I've been checking daily. Can't wait for it mainly for the Spotify Updates!

But does the window break if you triple tap ?

The Hands-Free Trunk feature is only available to new vehicles with Ultra-wideband (UWB) such as the new model 3 and updated S and X.

Can't see clips on my phone intel chip

I've always been able to adjust the wiper speed with the left scroll wheel in my '22 model. S. Plaid. So not sure if that's something you just found or it was not available in other models. Also, I think you can select not to have things rerouted within the current menus, but not sure if you're talking about something different here.

The wiper speed on the scroll wheel was in the release notes. It's new for the rest of us.

Before the spring update, the wiper speed could be adjusted by pressing the left scroll "LEFT or RIGHT". As the note on the screen describes, the spring update changed that to allow the wiper speed to be changed with rolling the left scroll wheel "UP or DOWN", which should be a nice improvement (still waiting for my 2023 Model Y to be updated). The spring update also added the ability to use the left stalk to click through the wiper speeds, which I personally think is the better wiper update.

Should be "Does it live up to the hype" since we are not paying anything for the software update :)

Any basic autopilot changes/updates in this version?

Nope. Its an aftermarket mod you can do.

Got 2024.14.6 and 30 day FSD v12.3.6 on May 15th on wifes 2020 Intel Y car, but not yet on my '22 AMD ultasonic FSD Y car. 6-11-24 Update: My '22 MYLR FSD AMD ultrasonic car just updated from 2024.3.25 / 12.3.6 to 2024.14.9 / 12.3.6 6-20-24 Update: Intel car lost large screen with map inset along with free FSD with updates 2024.14.9 and 2024.14.20.

Auto open trunk and viewing sentry mode alert clips on your phone both require you to own an iPhone. Boo Tesla from us Android owners.
