Great video! I kind of like this from Tvspoetsline but more interested in their Morimoto taillights. Can you get your hands on those and install it so we can see how it looks? There’s like only 1 video on KZread with those lights and it’s from them.

The new lights are still going strong with ZERO issues and are super bright! We actually get compliments all the time and when we run into other Tesla owners they usually ask where we go them from.

I bought third party tail lights a few months ago but returned them bc it required the wired to be ran through the rubber boot on both sides of the trunk lid. Not worth the trouble. These are much easier but I don’t know if they’re worth $650. Thanks for the vid!

Nope, some of those caps screw off. This video caused me to rip mine straight out of the metal, not sure how I'll secure it now.

I spoke to my Tesla service technician and he informed me that changing the rear tail lights would void my warranty on my Tesla is that a True or False statement? Because when Tesla sends out an update to the car some updates could be for the lighting module I was told by the technician.

That is 100% false. The Magnusom Moss Act protects you from this. Obviously Tesla will not warranty your new tail lights but it will not impact the warranty on any other part of your vehicle. Most manufacturers (not just Tesla) try to claim this anytime you make a 3rd party upgrade. Unfortunately too many consumers don't know any better and just accept it.

lol. I was a one man creator for this video so it was either I shoot him doing it or I ask the mechanic to become a video guy. Haha. It is super easy tho!
