You're doing a disservice by not mentioning that a lower price makes it easier to aquire blocks of 100 shares, which then gives you the ability to write covered calls & collect premiums. I can't wait for another split.

Let the splits begin!!!! I held TSLA shares for a while now. My percent change is listed as 2181.7%. Not so bad. What I've seen is TSLA moves are in the dollar range vs the cents range no matter what the share price. Split my 400 shares to 2000 any time. Then take it up another 100.00. No complaints here.

The thing is Tesla would be like 2500 a share after these 2 new giga factories start pumping so better to get ahead of it.

Does anyone know if tesla had allowed for fractional shares to be part of split as well when they had their last stock split?

Why do they ‘need’ to issue more shares in order to do a stock split.
