Tesla just released this image showing the Semi truck factory building up at Giga Nevada. On the top of the image it reads Tesla Semi: Start of construction near Gigafactory Nevada.
This is exciting news for the trucking industry where many drivers are looking for solid electric semi trucks to switch for electric trucking for short-distance deliveries.
At the end of the last year, in 2023 we learned that Tesla started to hire for a lot of positions meant to deploy a volume production line for the Tesla Semi electric truck at Gigafactory Nevada.
