Tesla is a fun, and often underrated band. To my recollection, they put out this acoustic album ahead of the "Unplugged" craze of the 90s, too. Great one, ladies! 🤘😎👍

yea, this album started the unplugged series, this album was a response to critics that said they were "just another no-talent hair band" by a popular critic

Your reactions here seems so genuine and completely heartfelt. I can't say that I blame you all that much, seeing as how this song has the ability to capture one's heart and carry it away. I really love this band and this was the first song that I ever heard from them back in 1989. Since that first time, I have seen them live several times and each time was better than the last! I grew up in the '80s and it was such a grand time for music. Glam metal was king, classic rock still ruled, rap music was just getting into heavy gear and the bands that would eventually dominate the '90s, were just getting started in their garages. I love that your reactions today is pretty much the same as mine was back in 1989. Great band, great song, great reactions! 😍💕😊

the "intro" to this song includes 2 very difficult guitar pieces, in the hall of the mountain king(a classical piece by Grieg) and the intro part of Heart's "Barracuda" by Nancy Wilson

I played guitar for a little while until I realized I had no musical talent. When playing the opening to Love Song, I always stopped at this point, never knew what it was until now, I just knew it was beyond my skills of memorizing tab!

Jeff Keith was amazing and totally underrated

omg.. watching two young girls, from different country/culture love this the way i did when i was your age.. almost brought tears to my eyes .

This is why the 80s was the best decade.

Tesla. One of the few bands who still enjoy what they do. They don’t just get out on stage and put on an act. You can tell that they still, to this day, have the same energy as they did when they first started out. Hard to find nowadays.

what I have noticed personally is that a LOT of the mainstream music that gets released today doesn't have the staying power for ME personally that bands like Tesla, Skid Row, Def Leppard, and Guns and Roses have. I started listening to those bands some 35 years ago and I love their songs just as much now as I did then. Even on the rare occasion that I hear a song released in the last 15 years that I like, I typically don't listen to it long term......

Tesla has released several new albums since their big days of radio and MTV popularity. They are one of the great 1980s/90s rock bands that is still going and making good new music. Check out their album (on CD), "Simplicity."

The whole album is great, agreed! I won the casette from the local radio station shortly before it was released and I was the coolest kid at school.... for about a week.

Have seen them only twice but here in Sacramento, where they are from. A month or so ago where Jeff and Frank both brought family out on to stage (I have a picture of Jeff dancing with his mom, so sweet!) and once several years ago at an impromptu (to me anyway) show at a small square downtown 3 blocks from work where I was treated to free show just for showing up!

Not to mention Tommy Skeoch during his time with Tesla. He and Frank were an incredible duo at guitar. My favorites being Modern Day Cowboy and Edison's Medicine. My 4th favorite band of all time. (1 Rush, 2 Pink Floyd and 3 Queensryche)

I disagree to glam rock comment. Tesla Never got into the Make Up and Big Hair and Costumes. They Always stayed true to themselves and their music, This is why they are still doing concerts and have Many Many, Did I say..Many fans, "Still" to this day! Tesla put on a great show...Just sayin
