Instant acceleration, constant exact power, tesla will most likely always have the fastest production car there is. Now when it comes to being fun to drive and actually feel the power, then there's plenty of badass muscle still around, but they'll never compete with these new cars.

Yeah, I don't care how fast the Tesla is, when you aren't in a situation where you can repeatedly accelerate, I'd rather be driving a car I can shift and enjoy. A slow as hell economy car with a 5 speed is actually an absolute blast to drive when you must drive responsibly and can't fly around everywhere. And thinking something like "autopilot" is cool? No way, that's lamer than an automatic transmission.
