Absolutely right! Lot of things that can be added especially for an expensive car

If the soft close motor fails...will the front hood still be able to open? From the looks of the design it seem to be able to open but just wondering...

Thanks for your video, good explanation! 😊 Still I have one question: You attached the device to ground and directly to the low voltage battery. Is there any current limitation (fuse) in place just in case the little frunk motor might somehow fail?

Something simple as a garage door opener button on the infotainment center without using my Q or home link. Just like my Hyundai Santa Fe garage door opener programmed to my craftsman garage door opener.

If you accidentally opened the frunk, can this be used to close it back remotely?

Problem with those is, when they fail you will have to go to Tesla and then need to take off the bumper and break into the frunk to fix it.

What is the point of all the electric gadgets? They do not enhance the driving experience in any way and will result in higher repair costs in the future. "Entertainment" systems installed 5 years ago are obsolete and impossible to find replacement parts for, thus decreasing your car's resale value.
