    I have tried driving both. There is even no comparison- Mercedes wins. Yeah, range and speed of Tesla is little better, but driving experience in Mercedes is amazing

    @@wsu8568you obviously don’t understand ride quality and probably never experienced it before. Poor soul. No tesla model has the ride quality of a top of the line Mercedes, in terms of comfort and quietness. Sure your Tesla can go 0-60 in 3 seconds. But that gets old and when you’re just driving normally, that doesn’t matter. No passengers want neck breaking acceleration every time the light turns green.

    Mercedes should have an 8% larger battery if you order it now. 118 (2024) vs 109 kWh (2023 & 2022)

    Great review! I have a 2022 Model X and today I test drove the EQS SUV. It was luxurious, and I definitely miss it. But my MX has much much better handling, on top of what you have already mentioned. The EQS felt sluggish on the corners, and definitely very slow at the start. I will stick to the Model X for now, and maybe, when i am older and certain things won't matter as much, I would get the EQS. Also to add, not all superchargers are available to other EVs, but only some.

    Coming from a MB driver, I'd always had a hard time justifying the cost of purchasing a Tesla. I've test-driven the Model X 3 times, and they even offered to let me keep it over an extended weekend, where all the short comings became even more obvious. However, when I set in an EQS, I felt it was worth every bit of it. But that's just my personal preference

    Augmented reality mbux and 10 degree rear axle rotation are game changer. You may not feel it in US because of wide roads, wide parking spaces. But in EU this feature is fantastic. Tesla has vision system, I should not underestimate but it’s never 360 degree camera system especially thinking if parking. It should not be so difficult to integrate a front bumper camera on active driving system. Also considering the cons, there is no phantom brake issue at Mercedes. It has stalks too. Again you may not feel it in US because of wide or no roundabouts. In EU and UK roundabouts are tight and sometimes complexed. you have to give signal when to approach exit. Finding signal button especially the correct one whle steering wheel in more than 180 degree rotated, it’s really pain. Considering the price, yes Tesla is more affordable. But 79990 is only US market price. It’s more than 100k in EU. 10 degree rear axle rotation, augmented reality mbux, outstanding suspension system, far beyond seat comfort make Mercedes premium against the competitors

    I’m a luxury customer, but that doesn’t mean I want it fancier. I love the simple, intuitive design of the X. I’m still undecided about what I’ll buy if I get a new car next year. I currently drive a 2017 bmw x5. I don’t even prefer electric. I would only get electric as a second family car because of range limitations. I don’t love the new bmws either. This review is really helpful.

    If the comparison is just luxury and comfort then there is no need to even compare. EQS would win, but Model x is a combination of both decent luxury and performance. Can the EQS match 2.5 seconds 🤷‍♂️. EQS may be very luxurious , same way model x also has some features that are best in the world.

    Why the obsession with acceleration? The EQS is more than fast enough. I’d rather prioritise a higher quality cabin than a faster acceleration as you reach the speed limit very fast and beyond that, you may risk a fine or even a loss of your license. The Tesla is a plastic car and the CEO behind the company is an idiot. For me it’s EQS all the way.

    I keep hearing and reading that the MB range of EQS models aren't selling and are piling up at the dealers. Usually this would = falling prices and bargains galore. However, personal experience has proven this is not the case and dealers are still asking top prices. So I guess I'll wait a year of so until an ESQ 580 has depreciated sufficiently as to not represent financial suicide!( as it does at present).

    Dealers are definitely discounting them. In December I negotiated 24% off of MSRP on a SUV 4matic. There was also a $7,500 lease credit. It’s still expensive but felt like a fair deal for what it is. I’ve never had such a nice car. It’s night and day compared to the model 3 I was driving previously.

    drag coefficient fo EQS (0.20), the Tesla (0.21) so EQS is more aerodynamic EQS weight 5,597 pounds and Tesla Model X 5,185 pounds if you compare exact midel and feature mercedes is heavier and size and capacity of battery in each car ,aerodynamic EQS is more aerodynamic for weight Tesla is much lighter i think its because of weight Tesla gives more miles

    I hate Elon so considering getting rid of my 2018 Tesla X, though it does everything it should, great in the snow, no issues, and I hate myself for loving it!! MB EQS is the one I've had my eye on since had a much loved, fantastic in the snow MB R class (the most underrated MB if you have kids ever!).

    We all know Tesla over inflates their range predictions. So you really can’t compare the range of the EQS and the Model X. The EQS has proven in numerous range tests to come in above predicted range. Tesla falls short every single time on range, there is no denying that. Don’t get me wrong I love Tesla but when you are paying close to 100K you should not have to worry about build quality, paint quality, etc. So I pay almost 100k for Tesla then have turn around and get paint protection, PPF, etc adding thousands more on top of an already expensive vehicle. In the 41 years that I have owned cars, I have never once had to add PPF or any sort of paint protection to the car after purchase and never had to worry about paint when purchased for all the major US automakers. Yes Tesla has a great operating system, but let’s be honest, the cheap quality of the actually vehicle does not command close to 100K. Not to mention Tesla keeps taking away key elements from their vehicles in order to reduce cost and increase sales rather than producing a quality vehicle all around. Now is not the time to buy any electric vehicle. Wait a few years until ALL automakers work out the kinks in their electric vehicles, then make your purchase.

    I’ve been driving a model 3 for a few years now and never faced any issues. Range has also been good. I see your points but feel like the issue gets blown out proportion across media outlets when it comes to teslas

    Exactly ​@85Portar Just don't get Tesla. It is like a moving empty room with a huge flat screen tv. Did around 3 test drives as I tried to convince myself to like it, just couldn't get it. Too plain inside the car. Yes, it's fast. But how does that matter on London roads that are so narrow and speed cameras so ubiquitous. You get your licence revoked in 6 months. I can't spend so much money to drive a huge ipad. EQS is it for me.

    Wow, compare a truly well made luxury car with an poorly made, uncomfortable appliance... You must own a Teala to rate it above the Mercedes. Zero to 60 in real life is irrelevant. The Mercedes out classes the Tesla.

    The looking are much better than model X and almost same for all models of Tesla. Like the standard bus. 😂. Th Tesla are not very comfortable and seat and hard and not luxury feeling!

    I have tesla X and definitely regret it. I think in your next video you could try to hire elderly to sit at the backseat. And compare between the 2 after few hours ride. The obvious winner is definitely EQS. The elderly will probably sue tesla after 2 hrs ride. There's nothing luxury about tesla X ride quality. Frankly I feel hyundai has better ride and built quality. If Tesla doesn't fix this issue soon, their stock will dive esp with so many ev competitors.

    You compare plastic interior and shasie with the king 😁, very unexperienced review towards Benz according entertainment system, safety features, flying drive and range difference for about 40 miles. To not speak about Benz permanency reputation after billion sold wehicles so far
