Very cool Mario. I've been a Tesla tech for 3 years and it's cool to see a third party shop repair one.

How has it been working for tesla ? Money and stress wise ?
I wonder if that aero shield got ripped off you could see the bolts for it and the plastic around them like it got hit. Maybe that’s how the hose got damaged.
I'm glad to see EV repair videos coming online. In just a few years these cars will be much more common. Thanks for sharing.

Hey Mario, became a subscriber after the video. As a former automotive technician and current TESLA owner, this video was super helpful. You were very professional and you did a excellent job recording and explaining all the steps. I thought I was stuck doing only tire rotations and low voltage battery replacements on my own vehicle without the diagnostic software to do more, but thanks to your video and Tesla's software allowing us to unlock the gateway's ourselves, I now know I can do a lot more without fear of being locked out by software. Thank you Mario.
Absolutely setting yourself apart from other on-line techs. Well done!! And now to the video.
Thank you for taking the time and showing us the steps to perform such services. Not to mention where to take classes as well! Your the best Mario! Thank you
I'm hooked on your videos , giving me some ideas after being a MB dealer tech for 19 years. Thank you for the tips
Awesome detail video! Thank you!
Mario thanks for sharing. First EV maintenance repair video i’ve seen posted. Thanks again Artie 👍
I have been trying to figure out why that function in the service menu wouldn’t ever work for me. You are the man. Saying I have to have it connected to a charger is a life saver
Great info, pretty interesting to see the service information, I seen for my autel ultra I can purchase a cable for Tesla as they do not use an obd plug. Time for more training I guess.
and thank you for taking the time to make edit and post this video Mr Mario
Mario, great video !!…knowing how Tesla “rolls” I’m sure that coolant hose location has been redesigned already and changed on the assembly line…LOL !!
Once again Mario dropping some knowledge. Thanks brother
Great job and information, thanks for share Mario
Excelent Mario, great work❤
Excellent video. Really good instructions
I have never seen a video like this before! Very good!
MOVING UP I SEE!!!! WELL DONE SIR.... WELL DONE!!! GREAT AND INFORMATIVE VIDEO ONCE MORE.....
Awesome job Mario. Love Rich, cool guy.
Love it ! thank you
Thanks Mario 👍
Thank you for the great content Mario! Just subscribed to your channel 👍🏼
Mario, AWSOME INFO as always more on EV videos while u can thanks brother.
Great content as usual, nice to see your usual expertise and confidence, just one question - why was this not covered by tesla warranty hear in 🇬🇧 I have 4yrs or 100k general warranty + 8yrs 100k on drive train and battery.

Awesome 👍
That was a really good one.
Here in canada service info was not available a few months ago... Will have to check if it has changed
Thanks mario
Nice i knew 1 day there would be a tesla on the channel lol great vid as always cant wait to see whats next and to all that are worried about working on new things just remember learn the systems ALWAYS follow service info and learn from your mistakes and your fellow tech 😁 GOD bless
The price shouldn’t be based on how important the part is but how difficult/time consuming the job is.

@@SuperMarioDiagnostics yeah I can see that. Wonder what that job costs at the Service center and how long the wait would have been at the Tesla service? You might have said I didn’t get all the way through yet.
At about 3:14 “For those getting into electric vehicles this is going to be a shocker…”. Ha. Too funny. Great video! Don’t know anything about teslas. I guess they use the heat from the batteries and motor(?) for heating and cooling pass compartment? Great work.
@SuperMarioDiagnostics

The heat pump is responsible for heating the cabin Thanks!!
tks
I hit something in the highway and don’t know what it is but there’s about 8 cars parked on emergency lane ahead of me so I figured they’re dealing with the same dilemma.. pulled over and checked my model 3 and saw a big chunk of panel missing from front skid plate so that’s bad… drove it and got alerted low of coolant then follow with power speed limit of 60… now thinking scheduling a service and a charge of 220, not sure if that include whatever part was damage or that’s just the charge of refilling coolant
Thanks for sharing this Mario. If you didn’t mix your own antifreeze, does Tesla use Zerex G48 for all Model 3’s?
Nice one
I was surprised to hear the coolant for Tesla is mixed with distilled water. The Chevy Volt takes a mix of dexcool and deionized water for the coolant for the battery and electronics. Wonder why Tesla is OK with distilled water.
Excellemt video.
its the future
Very interesting! And expensive 🙂
Interesting
Thanks for the great video! So, these Teslas have a plastic cover for those pipes? I did notice a piece of plastics broken off on a bolt 14:52 under your hand...If you hit 1 rock or stick the plastic breaks and you lose coolant, neato Tesla, ha-ha This thing would last about 30 days on the roads I drive on gg Tesla.

Hey Mario, what if I just want to top up coolant but leave the repair to Tesla as they can’t see my car for two weeks. I don’t want to be slowly losing coolant. It’s -20C here today so need heat in the car for sure. Can I just do the steps to check the levels and then perform the fill using Service Mode? The Service software is very different now than when you did this video. LMK 🙏🏽 thanks in advance
My left door pillar camera blocked or blinded due to condensation. Any recommendations to fix it. I have 2023 model Y
Does anyone know the coolant capacity for a model 3/y? Specifically a later 2021 Model Y
Did you completely drain the system? Os there a way to completely drain? Or was this just a top off?
Awesome, where are you located?
So just to understand Mario, did you have to pay the 500 bucks for the purge? And as this such a new vehicle would it have not been covered under tesla warranty?
Whenever I do a video on my Volt I loss subscribers it seems. Seems some just don't realize that EV/Hybrid is the future no matter what Scotty says! Great video Mario!
Can you use Evans waterless coolant on this?
The Tesla epc is nice. Be careful with any trim panel tesla's are some of the chintziest. The tesla coolant is straight but can be diluted when necessary. I was thinking if it was a heat pump three it should still be under warranty but I'm assuming they told her that's a wear-and-tear item there and denied warranty.

Hello there, did you check the 12. volt battery, did you have at least 12.8 volts, did the screen turn on? if you do not have 12.8 volts then jump the 12 or 16 volts battery Sr.
Well done Mario for taking that job on. I wouldn't go near that Tesla. You break something and it costs a fortune. I think the technology has just gone too far. All that for a hose. Thanks for sharing.

You can run the drain and fill then the air purge routine on the UI without Toolbox 3 I don’t believe the use of periscope is available to the aftermarket on toolbox 3 But it is an invaluable tool in diagnosing these cars especially if you opt to do it remotely Just finished watching the video. My comment is moot now 😂 There’s a bunch of other useful tools there on the UI under the actions tab

Hey there! I encountered a problem with my car, a 2016 Model S 90D with around 140,000 miles (approximately 226,000 km) on the odometer, during a trip to Denmark; the steering suddenly became extremely difficult to manage. After consulting with Tesla, it was discovered that a leak from a four-way valve had caused significant damage by corroding electrical components, particularly affecting the connection to the EPAS system, as well as the steering rod and wiring harness. Tesla has already replaced both the four-way and three-way valves to prevent further leakage. They also mentioned that cleaning the corrosion could potentially resolve the issue. However, their standard procedure involves replacing the damaged components, which could end up being quite expensive. They advised me to look for an alternative workshop capable of cleaning the affected electrical components as a more cost-effective solution. I'm reaching out to see if you or the comments could offer any insights or suggestions on how to approach this problem. Do you think this is something feasible, and do you have any thoughts on how it could be done?
What a nightmare nest of coolant hoses!
I can’t recharge HV because of cooling system issue
What’s the mileage
I have a Tesla model S in the service center rn and they told me I have to pay the diagnostic fee. For a coolant leak: is this standard?

It should be. Better to pay testing fees that guarantee results than to pay no fee for guesswork
@MIRELESYO

Senotirta is better to pay for diagnostic if the tesla is leaking they may put the diagnostic fee and the service charge, may be the hoses only and fill the coolant again.
