Tesla Giga Berlin Presents The Longest Range Model Y So Far With 350 Miles of Range

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Tesla has a RWD Model Y long range at Giga Berlin - and it gets about 350 miles of range, making it the longest range Model Y ever. It's also cheaper than the AWD Model Y.
This is a great Model Y for those looking for long range, but a cheaper price than the other variants like the AWD and performance. If you don't care as much about acceleration, then this Model Y is probably what you are looking for.
Here are some of the specs of Tesla Giga Berlin's longest range Model Y so far.
Price: $52,500 (or 48,990 Euros)
Motor: RWD (rear-wheel-drive)
Range: 372 (WLTP) or about 350 EPA
Other Model Y Vehicles Cost and Range:
RWD Standard Range (282 miles): $48,200
AWD Long Range (331 miles): $59,000
Performance (319 miles): $64,300

so its got a few miles better range and its cheaper as its only got one battery, not really marvellous news. Now if it was 500 miles and £10,000 less with a guarantee of a million miles that would be something worth turning out the guard for !. So saying quite happy with our MYLR as it is and won't be changing it for about 10 years

For some people EV range is more important then the performance. This is why I asked in the video, what's more important for you the range or the performance?

@@Torquenews Range every time, performance in any electric car is far superior to the bulk of ICE vehicles, you could say in the main buying an EV automatically gives you better performance hence going for range. If I had a 600 mile car I would only ever charge at home even on a trip in the UK that would be more than enough to go tripping and return without charging. Mind you I would need to stop for tea every hour or so being English !. 600 miles would cost me at the most £11.25 but as we have solar and battery storage it would likely be around £6.00 now that would be good, just need a 150 Kwh battery onboard !
