This guy didn’t know Model Y is the highest selling car and said hybrids are the play going forward. He is unqualified for his job smh.

@allan339 EVs travel just as far as gas cars 300 miles. Stop and charge. The fuel costs of hybrids negate the advantage of EV charging costs lol.

Possibly, because driving over 300 to 400 miles a day, EVs can do the job…

33k cars sold out of inventory for $42k per car is about 40 cents a share in earnings added. Energy will add more than ever also. Tesla will report $1.00 per share or more in July for Q2 X the one-time charges for reorganization.

" Hybrids are the way forward" great comment. You get the best compromise of both drivetrains. You had the complexity of a smaller motor than you need and they smaller battery than you need. Can't wait until they all start breaking down and then you're still addicted to gas… What insight!

good lord. Not a single mention of their energy storage deployments being literally more than twice as high as in any other quarter ever?

What an ignorant discussion. Ed owns a Model Y but he does not know how to use voice commands. That says it all. The other guy should not be discussing anything in public.

hybrids make no sense. The complexity of having 2 different engines in a single car for convenience made sense when a typical EV battery could go e.g. 50 miles. But now that you can drive halfway across europe on a single charge I don't know why anyone would go for petrol...? You need a break at some point anyway, and you can charge your EV in 30 min. That is one thing. The other is that the experience of driving an EV is just superior. And then the environment... Our kids future... come on people.
