You can pop out the entire center console and fish the wire behind the wireless chargers and plug into the usb C ports in the front under storage.

If you take the plastic cover off under the screen you can push the lead into the connector inside of the centre console

Glad to hear that. Still our favorite. Both of our Teslas have a MagBak installed for daily use.

Looks good except actual line of sight looks like it would cut off the bottom third of the screen. Also, looks like the Tesla screen would be partially obstructed from driver viewpoint. You basically just showed a straight on view. Hard to tell how much and if anything significant is covered. Would really like to mount it to the other side but that would require an angle of 30° to 45°. I see they do have a right hand side mount but that appears to be for right hand side steering wheel.

Thank you for the demo. Can the cable be detached from the mount tho if one doesn’t need the wireless charging feature?

Currently have the Jawua MagSafe and the arm keeps sliding down causing the phone to block the screen. Considering the magbak instead. Is the usb cable long enough to reach the back usb c ports? Plan on buying a usb c 90 deg adapter too.

Yeah the Jowua wears out over time which I didn’t know initially. The MagBak usb does reach and is a better mount.

Don't buy it. Costly and weak magnet. Got mine . Not happy and its a lot of money

Curious. Do you use this for better charger or better display than the oem charging pad that comes with the MY?

Now that you’ve had it for 8 months or so, what do you think of it? Do you still highly recommend it or are you looking for something else to replace it? I’m guessing you no longer use the Jawoa in your other Tesla.

I have MagBak's on both Teslas, my wife and I use them daily, couldn't imagine not having the MagBak. (I paid for 1, the other was a review unit) My friend also has a MagBak and he also loves it, for another opinion kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKiWuqmqmqjPn6w.html The Jowua was nice, however the sliding arm wore out and didn't look as good, if I'm being honest. It's designed to use either with their cases, or a metal ring on your own case, or without a case. I've tried all 3 and my phone stays put, even on launches ;) I personally use my own case with a metal ring on the outside of it. It doesn't budge.

How does it do on landscape mode?

It works but does cover the screen depending on phone you have.

When hitting bump and sharp turns, the Magbak is not strong enuff.

I have no issues using it with the provided metal ring. Very strong. Very minimal.

You are right, the magnet is very weak compared to apple MagSafe charger or Apple MagSafe battery .

It hasn’t yet in Los Angeles heat. They provide 1 extra tape
