Nazneen is a British-Bangladeshi writer, historian and artist who lives in Southampton. She studied English Literature at the University of Warwick, completed a PhD in Bangladeshi Literature at the University of Oxford and is now a lecturer in Creative Writing at Exeter University. In 2016 she was awarded a place on Penguin Random House’s first WriteNow mentorship scheme, which aims to support and publish under-represented writers.
City of Stolen Magic is Nazneen's debut novel, being published by Puffin in June 2023. Puffin is the biggest children’s publisher globally, and is a loud, proud voice for the power of stories to spark imaginations. Puffin is an imprint of Penguin Random House.
