One interview revealed that during the filming of THE EXPENDABLES, he made a solemn vow to NEVER be one of those actors unwilling to work with others, and his renewed outlook led to him getting more screen time in the movie and has helped his acting career grow since then.

Jake is in love with two things, 1) Amy, and 2) the concept of Terry's strength

@@CloudHiro Someone explained it better than me, but sort of yeah. The car was 2,500 lbs of weight. They removed alot of internal components without changing the exterior, which made the car 1,500 lbs. And since he lifted only the back end, it was about 750 lbs of weight. Its all the same very impressive, in the upper echelon of human achievements for strength.

Fun fact: Terry Crews actually did lift a car for that scene... sort of. The car is a 1999 Honda Civic, which weighs about 2,500 lbs. For the scene, they removed as many parts as possible without changing the outside appearance, and got the weight down to about 1,500 lbs. Since he only lifted one end, Terry actually lifted about 750 lbs. Still pretty impressive - the world record for a bench press with no special equipment is 782 lbs.

i find it amazing how he is kind hearted but when he is on the battlefield he doesn't care about kind hearts he just wants to win that is also everyone's logic of thinking when on the battlefield
