Ойын-сауық
This video captures a terrifying pyroclastic flow descending from Mount Merapi Volcano from the March 23 2023 eruption. A pyroclastic flow is a fast-moving avalanche of hot rock, ash, and gas that can travel at speeds of up to 450 miles per hour, devastating everything in its path.

How fast do you think it was travelling?
That's a huge one, thanks for sharing the footage.

It is...the most terrifying. One of the bodies found at Pompeii was that of a woman whose skull had literally popped open from the heat of the pyroclastic flow from Vesuvius that overtook her. She was apparently running away at the moment that it struck her, and the force of the flow also severed one arm that she had raised over her head at the moment it swept over her.
