Well done Ben. I would have been out of there quicker than the wind. I have had some strange experiences myself in the woods. I saw a "glimmer man" creature walking in some woodland about 12 years ago it didn't notice me but I saw it clearly walking between the trees for about 30 seconds. That same summer I saw a v-shaped glimmer craft fly straight over me it was following a raf hercules c-130 and had two raf tornado fighters on either side of it. It looked like they were flying in formation. I had another quite frightening experience in same woodland when something bluff charged me, ripping through the woods like an elephant or rhino. It was able to part very old and well established trees like a human walking through long grass. It stopped just out of sight from me and I could feel it watching me and a very scared fox who cuddled up to me shaking it was obviously terrified of whatever it was. The fox ( a vixon ) became my friend for about 2 years after. I haven't been back in the woods since that experience. These things are on the increase I believe. Hope all is well and good with you and yours. Keep up the great videos.

I'm in the US and saw one of these things on my neighbor's property. I have no idea how long it had been watching me with the horse's. It could have hurt me if it wanted to, I was on crutches at the time. It seemed more afraid of me because it jumped like it was startled that I could see it. That happened yrs ago and I have not been back out near the woods since. I won't even walk by them on the road. I feel like it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I can't even step out onto my porch at night to take the dog out. My husband has to do it. It was just so close to my home and some other things happened so I hate living out in the country now.

This was a great video Ben, creapy as hell, and finding that paintball camp was just amazing, weird how they left a lot of equipment behind, normally that stuff is locked away, strange, very strange. You're a brave man Ben staying alone in that camp takes guts, fair play.

Hi Ben. My son and I discovered an old paintball area at Strines reservoir area in the Peak District . It was situated in a Forest over the main road in a dark wooded area. It felt really eerie when we were walking around just like the one in your video . There was hardly any wind that day and we walked around all the different themed areas then decided to leave. As we walked off and away from the area there was a large tree snap and it frightened us big time. It sounded really loud and man made not a natural tree snap so we got out of there as quickly as we could. Once wed stopped running as we got to die road again we both got goosebumps and felt uneasy. Not saying it was anything but it was a scary experience and can understand how you felt in there especially overnight not knowing what may of been there. Great video Ben and can understand you and Lily feeling uneasy in there. 🌲🌲🌲🌲🐎🚶♂️🌲🌲🌲🌲👍

Seems lately I've seen a few videos where balloons were found in the woods. One reference I can recall is in the docuseries Hellier (can't remember if it's Hellier I or II). A tree has fallen across the road in the path of the investigator's vehicle. When they get out to survey the situation, they find a balloon. It is a piece of synchronicity in their investigation, their journey down the rabbit hole of paranormal exploration. I highly recommend Hellier. It's a fascinating glimpse into cryptids, lesser believed-in creatures, synchronicity and paranormal realms. I'm new to your channel and am hooked. Awesome content ... unique perspective and presentation. No pretense, I love your honesty and transparency.

It’s obviously an old paintball / outdoor events thing. Why would they have posters for “archery” and all sorts of family stuff there if it was for survivalists haha. They probably closed due to covid and never retrieved their stuff. All the “creepy” stuff like skulls and legs and stuff are a bit macabre but a lot of paintball/airsoft places like that like to have a bit of fun with it. Great video though even if I have to suspend my disbelief at certain parts.

If I had been there I would have needed a good twenty people with me. I honestly don't know how you do it with just Lilly for company. Why I wonder, in the middle of a national park was it just abandoned? Is it because it is not in use in winter? In a beauty spot would they be allowed to just leave it all? Weird, very weird... absolutely loved this video, as usual brilliant photography and fascinating backdrop. Please keep them coming, I just you don't get nightmares when you go to bed. Hi Ben, this was a fantastic video. I seem to share similar thoughts about what some ET races would look like. I’ve been thinking a lot recently that parts, not all, of our DNA makeup could be universal and we could share attributes with others out in the cosmos. It’s great to see English/British people getting out and talking about the ‘paranormal phenomenon’ topics as I sometimes feel that it’s not overly seen here in the UK unlike the USA where it does seem to be more prevalent. Keep up the excellent job your doing. Adam

Great video Ben really creepy! I have seen a large number of those snapped trees in various forests and thought they were wind blown, but after looking closely at your video and the surrounding trees I'm beginning to think your on to something. As for the idea of the predator camo, I remember Paul saying in one of his video's about hearing voices like radio communication but could not see anything. There are a number of video's about the possibility of military (active camo) very similar to this type

Great video. Paint balling was taking place there as well as laser combat. Events held for hen parties, corporate events etc sadly all came to an end around 2017. Paint is biodegradable so you won't see any trace etc. There are other events also carried out at the forest could explain some of the strange events etc. Its a possibility. Your dog Lilley is absolutely adorable.

Hi Ben, I just subscribed to your channel because I enjoy woodland camping, but most of all I enjoy the fact that even as a man you're not afraid to say you're scare. Other Bushcrafters hear things in the woods and play it off to ordinary creatures of the night, and they could be. Nowadays, we live in a different kind of world, and many of us do believe the possibility that cryptic like Sasquatch, Dogman, Skinwalkers, and aliens exist I believe they come through portals and/or are being brought here by an alien species. You have a trustworthy friend with you and I'm sure that if Lilly heard something out of the norm she would protect you or alert you so you can get out of harms way! Keep the videos coming Ben. As for the lack of paint from the paintballs, that is a biodegradable solution that dissolves with water so it won't hurt the environment such as the plants and the trees. See you in your next video.

Since I don't live in the UK - I was wondering if you get very bad storms there? I ask because of the broken trees you showed - they can be broken like that from a bad storm's ' microburst' . I have seen weird things done by microburst occurrences. Microbursts will be in very small areas & extremely intense ( just like the small area you show of broken trees). I usually think of microbursts when I see small areas intense damage. Guess it's something to think about when seeing downed trees or damage in small areas. Like I mentioned before though - I don't know the weather patterns in the UK & if that's possible there! Thank you very much for these videos & I will continue to be a loyal follower!! Take care of yourself & I look forward to more videos! 👍

In response to the balloons in the forest trees, nothing unnatural has happened. People release them at parties and other events and the wind carries them away. If they reach a certain altitude, they’ll pop and come down, if they don’t pop, they loose helium or it cools and they fall. Mylar balloons will go further than rubber, but it’s totally normal! That tree looks like a tree climbing system similar to a rock wall. Please update us if you can find any information about this camp. Lots of time and money spent in building it to just up and abandon it! It’s indeed a strange thing to do!

Thanks for sharing Ben my Mate. I don't know if you were overthinking the place, but that 'biohazard' wired up thing made me go,"What the HELL is that thing?!" I mean if it's a dud, the folk who set up the place are messed up, but on the other hand if it's active....what the sh## does it do? Looks like a bomb!! Either way, i would've pitched my camp a fair distance away, where i could've watched for lights or listened for voices, but been far away enough to be 'invisible'. And i thought camping out five mins away from my place in the local woods was terrifying. 😂 Loads of love to you and Lilly. Keep smashing it Dude! 🤝👍🤘😁

If I had been there I would have needed a good twenty people with me. I honestly don't know how you do it with just Lilly for company. Why I wonder, in the middle of a national park was it just abandoned? Is it because it is not in use in winter? In a beauty spot would they be allowed to just leave it all? Hi Ben, this was a fantastic video. I seem to share similar thoughts about what some ET races would look like. I’ve been thinking a lot recently that parts, not all, of our DNA makeup could be universal and we could share attributes with others out in the cosmos. It’s great to see English/British people getting out and talking about the ‘paranormal phenomenon’ topics as I sometimes feel that it’s not overly seen here in the UK unlike the USA where it does seem to be more prevalent.

@@401files4 they are a good piece of equipment. I carry a Garmin Rino 650

Unless it’s an Islamic terrorist training camp. That would have to be abandoned quickly if one of them got arrested or was being watched by police.
In my opinion best video yet very creepy there would love to go there but not on my own. Thank you for a great video ❤

@@401files4 you’re welcome ♥️
There is such a different energy in pine forests specifically I always feel like I should be very wary in them for some reason. Its almost a false sense of security because the trees are so uniform.
Great vlog Ben, that place has got serious creepy vibes about it. That dummy reminded me of that dream sequence in American werewolf in London haha. Always interesting to see how Lilly reacts to the area too.
Perhaps this was a film set that didn't get cleared properly, or has been forgotton about. I am so glad that you take Lily with you, she obviously sensed something untoward. Another great video, just wondering about the dot flash of light to the right hand side of the screen around the 43.33/34 time stamp, maybe a reflection off your camera. Anyhow, stay safe.

Okay, that's super creepy, 43:33 to his left, screen right. Maybe a firefly type of thing but it's entirely the wrong time of year for that.
Yes I agree with you the woods are creepy and it makes me wonder what in the woods
Glad I wasn't there... I was totally creeped out watching your video!

Thank you so much for watching Kelli 🥰
