Terrifier is one of the very few movies I've truly enjoyed in a decade. I can't wait to see this second part. True dark, twisted brilliance.

As a hardcore fan of slasher films, I cannot express how much I love Art the Clown. A big thank you to Damien Leone and David Howard Thornton for bringing back the true old school slasher vibe. A great interview.

Will watch and support anything Damien makes in the future. Love Terrifier, Terrifier 2 could’ve benefited from a tighter edit but ultimately the ideas and execution, the makeup and effects, the passion clearly behind it. The characters of Art and Sienna. Just superb.

One Halloween season, I put Terrifier on once with the intention of putting on a stupid silly cheap bad clown killer movie from Amazon, and realized soon into it that I couldn’t walk away, thinking, “wait this is actually really good…” and I watched it all and loved it and I never forgot it. I don’t know why it’s not more widely recognized. I think there is a stigma against clown horror movies now and I don’t blame anyone for that, but this buries them all and even buries most horror these days.

I loved All Hallows' Eve and Terrifier. Can't wait to see this one. I actually liked the Art The Clown segment in All Hallows' Eve a little more than Terrifier because I thought the protagonist in that segment was more likable. It sounds like Terrifier 2 has a great protagonist.

I watched it on my phone last week and I haven't been this obsessed over a film since south park the movie came out when I was 8😊I grew up watching 80s horror too so when the credits rolled I knew I had to go to the cinema for the first time in three years,I was gonna take my friends with me because they heard about how brutal it is but turns out it isn't showing at cinemas here in the UK,WHY? The first one was good but this is the best thing that's happened to horror films in years yet the films playing at my local cinema's are halloween ends and some boring looking crap called pray for the devil!😂

Been waiting for this one to drop, just wanna say, Damien if you see this.. bravo 👏. You made it epic, the extra hour was justified, and developing a final girl we were genuinely rooting for and concerned for, with a relentlessly suspense final act, really sets these movies apart now. …….. I will say tho, please don’t pull an alien 3 if you know what I mean. You don’t always got to piss the audience off to stay edgy. But that’s just an idea, you do you, I’m sure it’ll be good either way.

Saw this in a 25% full theater which is pretty good considering it was a Sunday night. I loved the theater experience with the audience laughing and gasping and even 2 families with young children walking out (not sure what they were thinking). I did feel it was way too long (just drop the club scene) and the supernatural elements (dream, father, girl clown) should have been explained. That being said, it was a great horror movie nonetheless and my friends and I left talking about how we want to get more of these NR movies in theaters. And yes, I do feel like Damien must have had an ex named Allie with how dirty she was done lol

Agree. Movie should've been shorter by at least 20 mins. The ending dragged on a bit and got confusing. Art is unkillable like Jason and Michael? Look forward to part three.

I watched Terrifier (2017) just last night. It was "Clown Chainsaw Massacre". Gruesome. Its only glaring flaw is it frequently commits the horror trope of "victim character makes stupid illogical decisions". Its biggest strength is that you really feel that every character onscreen is at risk and can be subjected to a horrible fate at any moment. And Art the Clown is an excellent villain and eminently watchable. It's a solid slasher for the "I'm scared of clowns" generation.

I watched the first Terrorfier. What a piece of shit that was. I have every issue of FANGORIA up until the mid 90s, bought them all when they came out and was a total gorehound. I respect his ambition but my God it was boring! The worst thing a horror film can be.
