Is that the thing you kill in SWTOR when following the path of the Jedi apprentice girl? Because it seemed to small to take on a Krayt Dragon or is there a larger variant. Or is it something else?

@TheTrollingMaster-xr9el that's it and there are larger variations. In fairness, it has only been in SWTOR, but as the ONLY Legends property still being worked on, I felt I should mention it.

I’m not sure why they basically made the Krayt dragon a land shark. Yeah it fits with the idea of “swimming through sand,” but I kinda like the traditional dragon head and tail attached to a multi legged, alien body. It’s just a perfect design that says “this is what Star Wars’ version of a dragon is,” you feel me?

I always kinda liked the old Legends looking Krayt Dragon, like in KotOR II game or the giant skeletons on Tatooine's surface in A New Hope, when the creatures actually looked more like dragons instead of a giant worm, but that's just me.

I love this video, and I can't wait to see more videos in that same format! I thought of a way to make the videos fit the theme more. Maybe you can also add ambient noise and music (so glasses clinking, loud conversations, etc.) and then have the narrator just randomly go off in a tangent about some friend or relative who did something involved with whatever is the main topic of the video. Of course, this could get pretty distracting, but it seems like a fun thing to try out.

Bit disappointing that aerial bombardment isn't an option against these creatures. Mining the ground feels too demanding, while I am loathe to mention whatever happened on that Mandalorian hunt. And even then, acquiring those lightsaber enhancing pearls just leaves a guilty conscience.

Going on a Dragon hunt in Star Wars Galaxy, before vehicle and buildings was intense. We started with 60 people, took an almost 20 minute walk, just to get the dragon canyons. I was the only character not to die when we took on a greater dragon. Because I got lucky, I was a complete noob on my second day playing, and the dragon was bugged and wouldn't chase me down. Since I could keep it in spawn range without pulling aggro, the team of a dozen or so top players on the server kept walking back over and over, chipping down it's HP. Even though I didn't do a HP of damage they gave me the pearl. Took us all night and it was just five of us at the end. Then we had a bar fight to celebrate. Early SWG was best SWG.

I can't wait for you to make a Smuggler's Tales video for Naboo. Because Naboo has some pretty unique and terrifying creatures, especially throughout their oceans. The Phantom Menace already introduced us to some of their most terrifying sea monsters, such as the Opee Sea Killers and Colo Claw Fish. Both leviathan sized sea predators that came close to devouring Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi Wan and Jar Jar in their Bongo. But even they were nothing compared to the kaiju sized Sando Aqua Monster, a creature so deadly and humongous that it PREYED on them. Besides the richness of its oceans, even on the surface, Naboo has some pretty interesting fauna such as Bursas, which are large four legged carnivorous pack animals that inhabited swamps and preyed on Gungans. In fact they played a big part in pushing the Gungans into advancing their technology, as Bursa raids were pretty alarming for early Gungan settlements. Another predator that lived in the swamps and hunted Gungans in times past were the Narglatch, a big cat like animal. Naboo also has several creatures that resemble dinosaurs, many of which were domesticated by the Gungans. There is the the pterosaur like Aiwha, which the Gungans used as flying mounts. This animal was also imported to Kamino and used by the Kaminoans to traverse their ocean planet. Other animals that the Gungans used as beasts of burden includes the Kaadu and Fambaa. Meanwhile the Naboo people also domesticated some of animals native to the planet, such as Shaak, Tusk Cat as well as the powerful Guarlara, Gualama and Gualaar (large quadruped creatures that the Naboo used as steeds).

I think one of the greatest acclaims George Lucas can be noted for, is the fact that he permitted open expansion by (book +) authors of the entire Star Wars mythos. This is certainly not the norm with all creators. Some are quite covetous of their creations and feel allowing others to participate in the expansion of the associated lore, will only denigrate or worse, mistakenly pervert the desired mythos. In some instances, they were correct. Regardless, George elected to give talented authors with true respect for the lore, the opportunity to expand it in often brilliant and fascinating ways. Zahn I suspect leaps to mind for most providing this service but there are many others. Star Wars constitutes an entire GALAXY (and even beyond) so the scope of stories is near inexhaustive. Thanks George! Greatly appreciated! Star Wars will survive far far into the future because of this simple act, despite the actions of some corporations I'll leave unnamed. :)
