So after watching this a couple times I have some theories. The murder man at the start grows up with violent tendencies, and seems to enjoy the suffering and death of others. Starting with the rabbit then other people. Eventually is in a romantic relationship with the elf-like person, who I'm guessing is not entirely a good person either if they find murder hot. Eventually they get in a fight and murder man does what he does best, in front of their child which goddamn that's fucked. Trains the child to be like him, though from his reaction to the dead or alive posters the child (well both children) are following their own path instead. Now the second part with Shadow Prince is where it gets interesting for me because now all the shown characters are connected. The Shadow Prince raises the horned child who we have seen works together later in life with Murder Child, and also shows that Murder Man and Shadow Prince are connected somehow enough for their children to befriend each other. As for the Shadow Prince himself, I refer to em as Prince because based on the way he turns to glare at the castle, and the later sequence of a similar looking two-horned prince standing next to two adults with covered eyes (I'm guessing the King and Queen weren't great parents either). During that specific shot, the number 10 can be seen in the background so I'm guessing whatever turned the Prince into a Shadow Demon happened when he was 10. The next shot is the whole murder family together with the number 100 in the background, so I think 100 years have passed since whatever event turned the Prince into this. Then we see the Prince treating the horned-child like shit, including harming his leg to the point he has a prosthetic in the next shot. The same horned-child who was abandoned by who I think are the current rulers of the kingdom he used to be from. During the shots where horned-child is getting his ass beat we also see three posters- "missing Prince" "Memorial" and the precious wanted dead or alive posters. Then it wraps up with the Demon Prince not having a great time, being shown as a puppet on strings and suggestions that he gets his head taken off by Murder Man at some point. All that being said, my theory is that Demon Prince has beef with the royal family and has been haunting them for 100 years due to whatever incident turned him into a Shadow Demon. The current rulers abandoned their child in the woods, leaving him open to the Shadow Demon. Now why they did this to begin with isn't shown, my best guesses are 1.Affair baby 2.Some deal made with the Shadow Demon. Shadow Demon raises the would be prince sadistically, eventually meets Murder Man and makes a deal with him. Hence the puppet on strings shot, and why the two know each other. Eventually both kids go on their own, the parents aren't happy, and eventually the deal results in Shadow Demon's death. Love when OC animations have enough depth I can really dig into them, great job

Amazing!! You're super close honestly! The only thing youre wrong is that the kids being wanted is exactly what murder man wants, and he actually seduced a vampire, the elf kind person is a vampire. The shadow prince's incident happen when he was 18(sorry the number might be hard to see) and he was cursed to be immortal, the puppet strings indicates him being in life's control because he cannot die, hence why his part of the song is "please just let me die" and he has lived over 100 years. Also the people with him during the shot of him wearing a crown is actually him with his father and twin brother, the person next to him looks almost exactly the same as him. His twin is smiling while hes not indicating he was treated horribly than his twin. For the reason horned child is thrown away, you could say the biological mother is just a horrible person (she didnt like how he looks) Murder mans name is Hector and shadow prince's name is Frince. Their relationship is kinda...complicated? They made a deal to be working together but Frince hates Hector while Hector looks at everything like its a fun game and Frince is the party pooper to him. Fun fact, the amulet Frince is using which made him powerful was from dealing with Hector, he wanted a theif to steal his family's amulet from the castle. The way you figured it out by theory is amazing!!
