Lol he’s 29 and plays in a Canadian league, he’s not gonna revolutionize anything, there are lots of guys who are far better players who can jump just as high. Check Yuji Nishada, one of the world’s best players, leads the Japanese national team.

Like Anthony Hamilton has a 55 in vertical.

Jimmy Colleran sure but volleyball players jump repeatedly and dunkers and jumpers only do like 2 or 3 times making it easier to preserve energy for that one big jump, also adding everything else that comes with volleyball, like body moment, spike power, receives and sets. While dunkers only need to have fancy jumps and make a ball Into the basket

GalaxyLunar I mean that’s in competition but in practice session dunkers in particular will do full jumps for 2-3 hours. I mean your not wrong that volleyball players jump a lot but it’s not like dunkers or jumpers only jump 3 times. As a long jumper my self we will jump constantly during every part of our workout, whether it be into the pit or just warm ups.

Anyways, it looked good versus weaker bellow average teams. Against any decent squad with actual pro volleyball players, we were smoked most times. Just saying

The most difficult to get the perfect technique is the Landing. This guy needs to learn that, otherwise he won't be playing-jumping for too long. Too much pressure landing with just one foot.

Wilt Chamberlain played some serious volleyball after retiring from basketball. He was involved in the International Volleyball Association as a player and I think was Pres at one point. I saw him play once. At 7'1" he did not have to jump much to have an awesome spike, which is good since he never seemed to get more than a few inches off the ground. Not much of a player at that level other than to spike.
