Great roundup! Also, props on the immense cabin and stove! As a fellow TdH (and cabin) aficionado, I really appreciated the comparison. I blind bought my first TdH a few months ago and burned through the 30ml in days. TdH has since become an addiction that borders on solvent abuse! Can't get enough, my only niggle is that I'd like the top notes to last a bit longer. Love the dry down, but it's the top note that blows my mind. What I appreciate most is TdH's town/country versatility - it never feels like a synthetic clash in nature nor too rustic in town.

What a treat to blind buy, virtually 100% of all of my blind buys have been a disaster 😆Very well said about the country/town balance. Nothing worse than smelling like a city boy out in the woods...... also the cabin was ace. Very sad to see it go, it was a month well spent.

It's the OG after all!

I just can't get over the EDT, it has that zing, that X Factor, just blows your mind and knocks you out (and those around you!) ❤ Eau Tres fraiche is a beautiful gorgeous mellow orange based scent which lasts surprisingly long despite being a citrus scent. Get it while stocks last, it may not be around for long as its been replaced by eau givree

It's like you read my mind. I'm wearing the Pure Parfum at the moment. I love this style and am looking for more fragrances like this. I guess the EDT is worth getting as well ^_^

Yes agree with your comments about the EDT. I've been using the EDT since its inception in 2006. It's the only fragrance for me. The EDP is much heavier in its "smell" and less fresh than the EDT. Thanks for verifying your thoughts. BTW, I find the most economical way for me is to buy the EDT refill gift set of 125ml and 30ml.

love parfum but can’t wait to try the edt og. try eau tres fraiche if you want some light juicy orange for spring. i love that one!!

That was very nice. Although the pure perfume is a better version. Refined version.

Good comparison. I want to buy EDT or Pure Parfum but just few days ago perfume shops had to take away all EDT testers as their formula included Butylphenyl Methylpropional or Zinc Pyrithione in it and since 1 march 2022 is will be forbidden in European Union. So I have to wait to smell them both on me at the same time (I did test them separately earlier).

Pretty sure I rated the EDT as lasting longer which is kind of strange as we would assume the perfume is a higher concentration.

I too really enjoy TDH apart from intense vetiver and the only reason is to my nose it's very similar to Encre Noire. And for the cost of TDH intense vetiver I could purchase 3bottles of Encre Noire. Definitely gonna purchase TDH edt, edp again.

I'm only here because I read one comment once that compared edt to Polo Explorer which is hands down my all time favorite but sadly its been dicontinued for ages. Anybody?

It’s all the way OG for me. A noob in fragrance community, the EDT leaves the best dry down and much compliments. I have the 3 and compared them, now brother has the 2 flankers 😅.

That's still a pretty lucky brother, they're not as good as the EDT but they're still a great thing to have in the collection.

Definitley like your videos, would turn down the volume of the background music by maybe 5 to 10 %, but otherwise nicely done!

It’s not incredibly similar, but it’s an amazing vetiver earthy fragrance. It’s called Encre Noir by Lalique. It goes for $45 CAD for 100ml.

Try Baldissarini Ultimate. Very similar vib but very cheap.

Just bought the EDP terre D Hermes it's the best of the 3 my opinion at least

@@WillWalbeoffe I'm so confused. I thought you said you liked the edt was the best for you. ? Are you talking about the Terre d'Hermes Parfum version of the original OG? I got the Terre d'Hermes Parfum and love it. I would say many would consider that the OG in EDP but it is labeled as just being a Parfum. I think the Parfum version would be the better OG performer in longevity & projection than the edt version no? Thanks for your reply I'm still deciding on which one would be the best for me to get. So many comments on here it's still confusing in a way to know which is the best pick. I am looking for more projection & longevity and the OG Parfum does that for me. It would be super hard for me to think the edt is better in both regards. ? What say you? Thanks.

Wish I had watched this before I purchased the intense. I assume it was the same line and would just be even stronger that the EDT or EDP. But no, it’s not for me, and a lot of money down it wont be used very much

I have 75ml of both the edt and edp for whichever situation might be better! Forget the other flankers.

You’re right it does smell far away and like you I don’t like it I bought it and I don’t reach for it. Lunar Vetiver and a great one Daniel Josier Vetiver that is the shit. Sorry for the bad language

PP smells better, is pricier and has poorer projection/longevity compared to the EDT ( not disappointing though). I ll go with the EDT even in the same price because the smell difference is not that great to balance the difference in projection and longevity. I should say though that both are amazing and a hybrid of those two could be a real masterpiece!!

Isn't EDT less lasting one? Usually EDP means same product of stronger concentration. How long does EDT last?

4-6 Hours for EDT and 6-8 to EDP, But EDT projects more. EDP is more dark elegant.

Could you please let me know the name of the shop in Budapest or roughly where it was? As a Budapest native, this really interests me!

not to sure, I guess you'll have to do a bit of googling. I got mine in a metro station in Budapest. Might be a bit overkill to travel there though.....

reminds me of how Polo Blue EDT is greater than the parfume

Heard some people say the EDT got reformulated this past year. Do you think this reformulation changed it's smell/performance?

The EDT has been reformulated a few times. The original formula had 55% Iso E Super for example and now the max allowed is something like 21%. You need to get a bottle from 2010 or earlier to get the real Terre D'Hermes experience but the problem is such an old bottle will probably have already started to fade with the top notes half gone or totally gone.

Please help me out? What is an OG? 😅

The Parfum is not an EDP the Eau Intense Vetiver is the EDP in the line.

Subscribed....Maybe your skin only because the vetiver one is mature even it deviates from the original DNA.... i purchased it immediately once i smelled.... Fraiche is not worth buying....get Rasasi Fattan instead much cheaper clone with very high quality and better performance

@Oussao Chou. So what is your conclusion with the Vetiver Intense? You like it better than the Terre d'Hermes Parfum? That's if you have the Terre d'Hermes Parfum version. Projection & longevity good for you? I have a hard time thinking that an edt version would be the stronger performer. I'm still so confused on which one to get after seeing a lot of the comments. And they ain't cheap so I have to pick one to go with. I like that you said you think the vetiver one is most mature. I'm just super curious if it's a good performer in longevity & projection. Thanks if you see my comment & reply back.

@@WrestlingErnestHemingway At early stage and before starting to collect fragrances i used to prefer EDP over EDT if i had to chose one.....later i realized that i am a vetiver lover and got the chance to smell vetiver intense..... I ended up owning the EDT and Vetiver.... I consider them not duplicated.... Nowadays If i had to choose one, it will be EDT (signature, all seasons ok)

The TDH EDT's performance in heat has been rather disappointing..1-3 hours tops and its barely there. Ive prolly been spoilt by how long the bleu de chanel or acqua di gio lasts in heat.
