I think re-logic wanted to add the devil, but that would be considered religious, so WoF was the alternitave because he cant leave the underworld (somewhat like the devil from the KJV bible) so they added the horrified de buff to stop you from leaving as well.

***** When you're fighting the Wall of Flesh, you get that debuff. When you have it you cannot go to spawn using a Magic Mirror, you can't go behind the Wall of Flesh (cuz you'll get the "The Tongue" debuff and the WoF will drag you back in front of him, and you cannot escape.

The funny thing is people who shit on Undertale are more cringy than the fanbase itself.

I was looking at the picture mainly...imagine how terrifying terraria would be in reallity. A giant wall of blood guts and teeth,a giant eyeball that can turn its pupil into a giant mouth,and thats not all...Think of that, just think of it. And then think of your character and how tough and powerfull he/her would have to be. I mean your character sounds like there 8 when they take damage. So and 8 year old with a OP sniper rifle,staff that shoots laser,and with a giant fucking sword. Damn

This reminds me of the first time I killed the Twins. I had been struggling in vain to try to kill one of the mechanical bosses, until I finally decided to build a sky bridge to take them on with. Sure enough, I managed to take out the Twins at long last with only a sliver of remaining health. And then when I dropped down from the sky bridge, a Giant turtle jumped up at me from absolutely nowhere and killed me instantly.

Thaaaaaaaaaaat's Terraria!

I don't care what anyone says. This is one of the better boss fights in Terraria. It always keeps you on your toes, and always keeps you moving. Sure. When you get the endgame Hardmode gear, it becomes super easy, which is why I think they should have a Hardmode version of this boss. Making it tougher, but drops new gear, that surpasses the old ones you get. Like Berserker Emblem, which would be a much better upgrade then the warrior emblem, and etc.

I have a theory that the wall of flesh isn't bad, cus when you kill it it says "ancient spirits of light and dark have been released" so technically it was a barrier or protecting something from us... Trying to keep the monsters at Bay but could not fully do so, so when we kill it we essentially break the barrier that it was trying to uphold for us and the rest of the world thus turning the world into hardmode and letting the powerful monsters that were sealed away roam free to wreak havoc on this world. But when you do kill it it entrusts the power of the pwnhammer to you hoping one day you kill the moon Lord and break the curse it was protecting from this world for many years.

Randemere Yup. Got my sorry ass handed to me on a silver platter by the destroyer on my first night of hardmode, a couple nights later by prime, the destroyer again (during a pirate invasion, mind you), and finally the twins. Probably the shittiest start of hardmode on any of my playthroughs.

Yet whats more embarasing is that you need to throw the voodoo doll at the right place to make WoF to spawn at the right place. And also it moves so you need to kill it quickly.

How come Lepus didn't get this theme? How come Turkor The Ungrateful didn't get boss 3? How come every friggin boss uses boss 1?

Because this boss is the final Pre-Hardmode Boss. All of the other bosses aren't so important. Only the Twins and the WoF have this theme. Don't know why The Twins have it though.

Still I hate how overused boss 1 is also boss 2 fits the twins perfectly even more than the wall of flesh Wall of flesh is the final pre-hardmode boss....I'm afraid this doesn't answer any questions also I'd rather fit bosses to themes that fits them then how important they are in the game Boss 2 fits Lepus better than boss 1 Boss 3 fits Turkor better than boss 1 and boss 4 fits Skeletron prime and Duke Fishron more than boss 1

Jascu Alex Both themes have sort of a chase theme, to back this up, the Wall of Flesh moves forcing you to run, as do the Twins especially Spazmatism who after sending fireballs or using the flamethrower effect will rush at you making your instant reaction to fly away.

They are such weak bosses except for Turkor which still doesn't deserve it's own theme Boss 3 fits the horrifying atmosphere of Turkor Boss 2 fits the upbeat battle with Lepus Boss 1 fits King Slime for him being casual

the wall of guides just has 666666 wooden bows and fires hellfire arrows.

On xbox my freind got a pistol before the WOF fight. When we spawned it I died (because I was below the platform.) and when I came back down it was nearly dead. I said "WHAT DID YOU DO TO THAT THING!?" He said " just a pistol."

+OminousWind97 Actually it can go either way If you seperate the twins, Spazmatism is the hardest mechanical boss and Retinazer is the easiest mechanical boss, skeletron prime is the second easiest and the destroyer is inbetween.

Not what I meant when I looked up the meatwall, but I am pleasantly surprised I found this.

I gotta say, that weird "ramping-up" effect, which plays at 0:05 right before the melody kicks in, has got to be one of the most iconic parts in any OST for me ever. I've been so conditioned by that sound that I immediately prepare to spam click and walk in a straight line for 5 minutes whenever I hear anything like it.

I have a theory: and if the twins' irises are actually containers of these attacks? when you do enough damage to them, they break, and the fire that releases the retinator escapes and that is why it makes a continuous attack, and spasmatizator takes out its laser and begins to attack with the beam at its maximum power, this was done as a security measure in case these were damaged, as a last resort, because if they had that form all the time, they would have to recharge more often, something for which they were not planned

I have an awesome idea! If there was a second version of WOF! It would have Retinizer and Spazmatism as the eyes, Mini The Destroyers as the leaches, EOC As the mouth (second form EOC), and a giant metal wall as the flesh wall. He would be super hard and can only be summoned in Hardmode. He is summoned by the Mechanical Voodoo Doll. And he shoots a bunch of lazers and cursed flames! :0

So did I. In fact, it was that boss fight that got me the ps3 achievement that you get for having 5 buffs activated at the same time. I had ironskin, archery potion, shine potion, obsidian skin (in case I ran out of runway and fell in lava), feather falling, gravitation potion, swiftness, and regen lol. I also had the Sharanga which had the deadly enchant on it and about 2000 hellfire arrows and a fiery greatsword with the legendary enchant on it. I dont have that sword anymore as I used it to forge the night's edge, but yeah.

i just realized something, if you somehow put the bosses together you could create a SUPERBOSS: CUTHULU! wall of flesh is the flesh. skelletrons for skelliton, golem for skin, all 3 eyes for eyes, eater and destroyers are the digestive system (that throws up cuthulu minions* and queen bee as his PET! AND THE LUNAR BOSS AS... IDK YET. but still it could be epic.
