why are you not loosing the adrenaline when taking damadge and why arentyou using it?

I'm using Draedon's Heart, it replaces Adrenaline with the Nanomachines, it heals me when i use it. In newer version it changes how the Adrenaline bar looks like. And even without that, i would rather take less damage from 1 hit than deal more damage, you don't really need that much damage for calamitas(maybe for Soul Seekers phase, but i prefer using rage here).
