I finally get the vibe from Infernum that Calamity was trying to send forward: “You are in a world where the villains have won and the heroes are dead. You are the last one left.”

@@jasonwolnik7029 I've found that in any class playthrough its best to first maximize your mobility if youre stuck, and then slowly replace it with damage to reach that balance you need to beat something

Good luck man, also perforator I would suggest using the best gun you have for when you are killing the main hive part, then the best bow w/ jester arrows for the worms.

My only complaint with infurnum is that slime god was better before and the dog’s first phase is to short. The music gets cut off way to soon and ruins the climactic nature of the fight. Yharon has the same issue.

Holy when did this game become touhou, jokes aside I feel infernum makes bosses so unique, tbh calamity sometimes just feels like big deadly lazer + dashing and this adds so much

Its my second run ever in terraria and im playing with 3 other friends with the exact experience as mine (the first run was in vanilla terraria with medium difficulty) we are running with master difficulty and we already beated all the pre hardmode bosses, do you think adding infernus to the game is a good idea or it's just too difficult?

​@@davide5492infernum doesn't work with master mode,so if you are gonna play it you need to play on expert mode, also are you playing on tmodloader or vanilla,because u need tmodloader to get mods,also infernum is way too hard, you should beat death mode first, or be like me and do it after revengeance, but keep in mind *I severely regretted that decision* im not controlling you, you can attempt infernum but I can promise you will regret that decision once u start fighting bosses, and if you need help downloading the mods for a calamity/infernum playthrough I can help

@@davide5492 I know your comment is two months old, but I would absolutely say yes. It doesn't just make the bosses more difficult, it completely reworks their mechanics. They are not necessarily harder as most of their attacks gain obvious telegraphs. I don't think I will ever do a calamity playthrough without this mod after having experienced it.

I never saw that draedon is actually there the entire fight against the mechs.

@@terraneko8999 Yharon and DoG were probably the absolute hardest, but especially Yharon because while SCal and DoG are more of a controlled chaos with clear-cut attack patterns, beating Yharon depends entirely on whether or not he feels like spamming some fireballs before doing his dash combos or not, which severely screws with knowing where to position and time dashes.

Bro did a no-hit run on Infernum DoG and thought we would notice Rewatching this now and I noticed this lol

wish it wasnt so busted in mp :( me and a friend did all infernum bosses except exo mechs cus the twins kept bugging out. orange one would just spawn as a bunch of gore like every frame and would be invincible and basically invisible but could still attack us, skelly and destroyer would also rapidly begin phasing in and out of reality. was so unplayable we had to lower to death mode to even be able to beat it, got em first try on death lol. for scal we had to re-log like every 2 or 3 attempts cause the sepulcher would only spawn as a head and sometimes it'd even be completely immune

How does draedon work anyway with the 3 different fights? I get the twins both having a separate enraged version depending on which you kill first

with draedon, two mechs you choose will fight you together, later in the fight you'll fight the third mech alone, and they'll be extra powerful, after that you get back to the first two mechs, the ones you chose, and theyll fight you together. when you kill one of them, the other one will be extra powereful, and enter their final form.

Is funny the size comparison of queen slime and king slime , because king slime got bigger in this mod lol

you use the profaned shard at the cliff, and make sure it's daytime. if you're unsure where exactly this cliff is, check out my recent profaned guardians video :p

Hammered platforms! you can spam them with the paint tool from cheat sheet instead of hammering each one.

I have never played Terraria but Calamity Infernum has caught my attention. Would you recommend playing the base game first or can I just jump right in?

Vanilla for sure! Infernum is just too insane to jump into head first, it's absurdly difficult when compared to vanilla. Try vanilla in expert mode, then you can move on to Calamity in Revengance difficulty, after that you should be fine trying infernum difficulty :p it's a massive jump in difficulty, but its a fun challenge :p

I felt the same way for years, makes it a lot better when you finally get them tho! (But try not to burn yourself out like I did)

Not just one boss can defeat any Calamitan whereas Supreme Calamitas might have a chance if they mess up.

Been playing this myself, and I am cursing myself for not knowing that you could kill the crystal king slime summons. I spent… an embarrassing amount of time trying to kill *King Slime* of all things, and the crystal was the cause of most of my deaths…

So, basically, DoG is a drugged out Crawltipede in this mode

Did you build all of these dope arenas? if you did do you have any thoughts about making a mod of these prebuilt arenas. or just an installable map because they make the game feel 10 times more badass
