Same here 💯 Walking to school by myself at the age of 5. Grown by the age of 14. I had to buy my own school clothes or anything I needed at that age. It was like that back then tho we had to be independent early these kids now have no idea. My kids are ages 10-28 and I drive my 10 year old to school. Times are so different now.

What made you leave? I’m Muslim too but it’s just certain parts of the Quran looks like it was clearly written by a man, not god. Like the part where it says Muhammad’s wives shouldn’t argue with him. That didn’t sit right with me; it’s supposed to be a scripture dedicated towards the ummah, so why are those lines addressed directly to them instead of a broader perspective.
