Fun fact: Robbie's take of the classic "hee hee" MJ line was not in the script, his VA improvised on the spot. After rewatching the scene, the directors knew it was too good to cut from the in-game dialogue and just ran with it. This line alone helped develop a massive portion of Robbie's personality

I would say the real "mother" of Terrako are the Sheikah scientists who invented the parts in the first place allowing Zelda to assemble them on her own and built the walking egg plotdevice. She didn't "create" it anymore than build up the robot to justify the story of the game.

He sticks with him no problem because "the plot said so". Otherwise Nintendo would have been forced with dealing with the fact Terrako did not know ANYONE ELSE in Zelda's party and would have to have scenes of it relating to every other single character besides Impa and her "comedy scenes".
