As Civil Engineer professor I am suggesting few improvements while application... 1 cut the Crack V groove of minimum depth 40mm . 2.Neatly clean and soak with water and dry. Apply the chemical solution by impeller or grout injection till the Crack fill with grout. The surface of Crack should provide with fiber mesh, and apply thee layers of brush bond over the surface.

I have personally followed this method and it has given great results. We had a water leakage problem from the terrace, Didn't see any leakage during this monsoon after applying this. Thanks for the information mate!!

I have applied the same in First week of June, before the monsoon started and gave two coates. Beautiful. No leakage at all. Earlier We suffered from the leakage at two places for many years and I used to apply white cement there but of no avail . Thank you.

I suggest you open up the cracks using a grinding wheel so that the slurry prepared can penetrate the cracks and seal it completely.

Yes correct ,sir i do have cracks on external walls equal to the terrace level , but terrace does not have too much big cracks , It has only mild cracks , so seepage replastering is recommended or water proofing , kindly suggest

No... For wall application brand Dr Fixit has another product, you can enquire at any good paint shop.

Can i use this mixture, thickened with cement, as a grout to fill the gap (about 3mm) in the flooring of my terrace. The gap had glass strips earlier. the glass strips have broken and come out with time.

Yes, you can do it, but pour the LW301 liquid in a tray, around 200ml, 1 litre water, half kg white cement, half kg regular grey cement to make the paste, add grey cement to get the desired thickness of the paste, clean & dampen the surface & then apply.

Yes. This is how I also have done in my home on my own....I din't find single drop of water even in cyclone.. It's my personal experience.. I engaged no labours

i have done this before, but the bonding is not elastomeric and does not work for joints where expansion and contraction due to heat/cold will reopen the cracks. The thin cement layer generally peels off after a rainy season, hence for waterproofing it does not work well. It might work better if the crack size is increased before filling, also some sand it added to the mixture for strength.

Even before applying the first coat, you need to dampen the surface, after the first coat is dried, pour only water to dampen atleast 2 times in a time gap of 2-3 hours, this process is known as curing. You must apply 2nd & 3rd coat after dampening the previous coat.

I don't think this will stop leaking of water
