    YES! One of the best sequels of all TIME! Fun fact: the actor who played the T-1000 was so fast in his running he actually was able to catch up to the bike and they had to shoot that scene multiple times and let the bike get a head start so he wouldn't catch up. In some cases, even with a head start, he still caught up so they just asked him to cut his speed

    Good review of a great movie. Small detail: As the film sequences were not filmed in order, the desert scenes, where they got Sarah's stored weaponry and John helped the T1 to repair the truck, were actually the first scenes to be filmed. Then back to the city. The problem that caused were that the actor Edward Furlong (John) , having been filmed at his youngest point already, was now noticeably older in what would, in the final cut, be earlier scenes. Also, his voice had broken by then too, so the producers had to adjust the audio on his spoken parts.

    Remember when Arnold got his arm stuck in the machinery at the steel factory and he had to detach it in order to get free? Well... when they were destroying all the remnants of the technology at the end by casting it into the molten steel, they *forgot* about that other arm that was still stuck in the machinery back there! They only destroyed the T-1000, the T-800, and the arm and CPU chip from Dyson's lab. But not the second arm. That's what I thought would be the reason for a Terminator 3.

    The Terminator and T2 were the Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back for my generation. The Terminator is possibly the greatest "B-movie" ever made. By that i mean, it is the greatest low-budget sci-fi ever produced. Some of the effects stand out like a sore thumb. But The Terminator is still a great inspiration for future filmmakers. Cameron showed us what can be possible on a small budget and its freaking amazing. T2 on the other hand is the greatest action movie ever made. Cameron showed us whats possible once youve established yourself in the industry. And its freaking phenomenal. We wouldnt have The Matrix or the MCU today if it wasnt for Terminator 2: Judgment Day. And this movie still holds up infinitely better. It seems so wrong that Linda Hamilton didnt get nominated for Best Actress. Linda Hamilton was so great in T2, she made Sarah Connor one of the greatest, strongest, most iconic female roles ever put on film. Her Sarah Connor is right up there with Cameron's own Ellen Ripley in Aliens and Scarlett O'Hara in Gone With The Wind. You dont have to watch any other Terminator film.

    I Watched your reaction to Terminator 2 Judgment Day! I Recommend Watching A great comedy movie based on a Saturday Night Live Skit Called Wayne’s World! It’s About Two Grown Men Played By Mike Myers As Wayne And Dana Carvey As Garth Who Have A Show In The Basement Of Wayne’s Parents House! Trust Me When You React To The Wayne’s World Movie You’ll See Why Their Both Connected!!!

    One of the best sequels of all time! Alongside Cameron’s other sequel masterpiece Aliens. Can’t say the same for the new Avatar movie. Glad you enjoyed this! It was a major milestone in the history of visual effects. That dog was the same one from the first Terminator movie. Belonged to the director and was named Beowulf. Nickname was Wolfie! Here’s a fun parody from The Simpsons: m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/n2tprralpcKwnLg.html

    Great reaction M&S, thank you. I honestly wouldn't bother with the 3rd Termy film it's pretty bad. Salvation & Genisys may not be 'prime' reaction material but definitley worth watching if you like the franchise. Take care.

    Yes, the studios decided they wanted more money, and made more movies. But the story ENDS, logically, with T2. Just ignore the others.

    No, they need to do all of them except the last one, terminator: dark fate 😂😆 that one's unwatchable. The only good thing about that one is the return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor.

    Kind of disappointed you didn't include where Arnold questions what's wrong with his eyes when they're in the police car or later when he asked why do we cry & John tries to explain. Then the end says now I now know why you cry something I could never do. But nonetheless I would stop here & not continue the franchise

    There really isn't more than two movies! I mean, technically there are more films, but they honestly don't count and should have never been made. There is no need to watch them. Just close the book here and end the story how it should have ended. People will try to tell you that the 3rd is decent... and it is. But it's still not very good and nowhere near the level of even the first film. Then the movies just get absurd.

  • @extantsanity

    @extantsanity

    Yeah, agreed -- even if the third movie is "decent", its mere existence relies on inserting loopholes that allow an infinite number of meaningless sequels to exist, which itself renders the sacrifice of the T800 in this movie meaningless and makes the overall story weaker. But leave it to Hollywood to want to milk the shit out of everything. Those of us who appreciate art don't like to indulge the third movie for continuity and legacy reasons.
