I turned 7 in July 1991. I love T2.

I took a music class in college. I learned a nice outlook on life. Say you never saw this movie before, ever. Now put yourself in 1991 imagine how insane this film was in movie theaters.

It was packed in India and my small town. I did not know English back then. But I still watched it and understood through visuals. And 99% of that town doesn't know English. And theatre was still completely packed and the movie ran full house for unusual several weeks. Beat that!!! 😜

What makes it even more amazing is this wasn't late 90's, this was early 90's. So considering we were just coming out of the 80's nothing like this had ever been seen before. So yeah you're right it was way ahead of it's time.

Actually, what you can see here is a modern computer altered re-edit, and it looks more fake than ever. The original version was far better.

I will never get over how well the stunts in this are done. Incredible work.

The reason it is so good is, the camera, the lighting, the makeup is modern. It's like now. It's not like 80s and earlier with long hair, oily face, reflection of the light on the face. The soundtrack is superb. The appropriate and just enough sounds of the truck hitting the wall, squealing of tires, flapping of the tire. The superb editing which shows the shopping cart coming towards the camera and immediately the camera turns to show the front of the truck which is coming behind, where the cart goes under the truck. No overdo or exazaration. Everything is just right. Brilliant work.

Even if i watched it million times i will never get tired of this movie

He had to practice with that shotty for hours and every weapon used in the movie most of the barrels were not vetted for theatrical blanks they were loaded with practice blanks so when they shot the weapons they were actually feeling the real recoil everything like that of course they were shooting bullets however to make everything as realistic as possible they did that yes everything was iconically done in this film,you'll notice the muzzle flashes aren't overly orange and amplified with the Hollywood effect and allot of the time smoke is coming out and the muzzle flash is what you would see irl very cool not overly Hollywood again awesome

THE BEST ACTION MOVIE OF ARNOLD

I remember when I was first showed this movie to my friend next door named Patrick. Right in the middle of the movie right here at the scene where he says okay stop the bike that's when my parents came and got me and said I had to come in for the night. I think that was the most upset i ever was as a kid. Truly one bad ass movie once I got to finish it the next day because I watched it five years straight ever since and learned every word to it every scene like a robot LOL. Nowadays I spit on the new movies he makes

Robert Patrick did a wonderful villainous role in T2. Arnold was the villain in the first original Terminator but changed over to be the protagonist in T2. These scene reminds a bit of the mission Fame or Shame in GTA 5.

Fun fact. Nobody wanted to do the shot at 1:14 because they said it was to dangerous. So James Cameron grabbed the camera and did the shot himself. You gotta respect him for that.

Who ever tuned that XR needs a raise.

I know he did the first one too, but Cameron really did a terminator sequel, also Alien sequel that both topped himself and Ridley Scott. so hard to do.

This movie never gets old. Truly one of the greatest movies and sequels of all time. Effects still hold up as well, especially for being nearly 30 years old.

That's one of the best movie scenes I've ever seen. I love that movie but you never seen it on TV anymore

In this movie attitude of that villian🔥

After hitting the concrete the truck really wasn't fit to move on due to the right frontwheel but in the next clip it got itself aligned thanks to Hollywood..

My two favorite parts are how the trucker hit the street and how this t1000 smacks off that annoying window.

For me I think it s the best terminator movie!

I appreciate the fact that Cameron showed the battery cable swinging next to the gas tank instead of having it just blow up for no reason (cars don’t do that). However diesel fuel doesn’t explode like that. In fact, it wouldn’t even ignite at all just from sparks. It’s heavier than kerosene, you’d need a blowtorch to get it burning!

You are absolutely correct about diesel fuel, but then reality doesn't make good movies I suppose.

Diesel fuels normally have a flash point between 52°C and 93°C. Therefore, those diesel fuels with a flash point below 60°C are classified as flammable liquids and flammable for those with a flash point above 60°C.

lol yes the truck's front axle got completely wrecked after the fall. Not possible to continue driving. But... a few seconds later it was magically fixed ^^

As a kid I never noticed the stunt doubles, but now I can't unsee it.

This movie just don't get old!!!!
