Haven't thought about that in like a decade (I'm 27 now) but back in 2009 it was Shana from Shakugan no Shana. I liked her because I was into edgy stuff like fire magic and katanas. Just need to clarify I was 14 in 2009 before you start thinking my taste there was weird. Nowadays Fate/Grand Order is pretty much the only "anime" thing I'm still keeping up with and even then with adult characters to choose from, I haven't really thought about waifu stuff at all. If I had to choose one now I'd probably just go with Rider/Medusa since she's super relaxed and pretty normal.
