Teresea's story

Teresea Olsen manages the Kōkiri Marae in Lower Hutt where they support thousands of whānau to be well and to stay well.
Feeding people in need is a vital part of their mahi, ensuring whānau in their community have enough healthy food to eat. Teresea shares how Kōkiri Marae worked to provide more than 13,000 food parcels during the COVID-19 Lockdown, the Pātaka Kai which grew out of the crisis and how quality surplus food from Kaibosh is helping them to feed those who are hungry.
