After the first aggressive set, Atmane expended all his energy and was done.

Well, we must consider that Medvedev in a few minutes threw away all the work he had done in 40 minutes of the first set.

He adrenaline dumped after winning the first set. Once he realized he couldnt get himself back into the level from the first set he was done mentally. Wish him luck in the future though that first set was electric, hes got game

MEDVEDEV IS ANOTHER SERIOUS TITLE CONTENDER! REMEMBER, HE WAS TWO SETS AND A BREEAK UP AT THE THIRD SET BEFORE LOSING TO NADAL IN THE FINAL OF 2022. HE DEFENDS VERY WELL MAKING DIFICULT OPPONENTS TO PENETRATE HIS DEFENSE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN MEDVEDEV PLAYING SINNER. IT COULD BE A GOOD FINAL. EXCEPT RAFA, ALMOST ALL BIG WEAPONS ARE FIT IN THE AO THIS YEAR. I AM A NOLE SUPPORTER BUT THIS YEAR'S AO IS ALMOST AN IMPOSSIBLE MISSION. HE ALMOST GOT ELIMINATED IN THE FIRST ROUND.

I AM NOT THAT CONFIDENT! HE IS NOT RETURNING WELL, NOT PLACING THE BALLS IN CORNERS AND THERE ARE A LOT OF CRUCIAL UNFORCED ERRORS COMING FROM HIS RACKET, SIMILAR TO THOSE THAT LEFT HIM DOWN AT WIMBLEDOM FINAL VS ALCARAZ AND AT DAVIS CUP VS SINNER. I BELIEVE THE LEGS STARTED TO BE HEAVY TO NOLE WITH THE AGE. ALMOST ALL YOUNG PLAYERS ARE FIT RUNNING LIKE HORSES. @@JayeshAmbali

YOUR PLAYER (MEDVEDEV) IS A SERIOUS TITLE CONTENDER AND SHOULD HE REACH THE FINAL HE WON'T COMMIT THE SAME MISTAKES HE MADE AT THE FINAL vs RAFA, WHEN HE WAS TWO SETS AND A BREAK UP AT THE SET 3, BUT SURROUNDED THE TITLE TO RAFA. I STILL BELIEVE MEDVEDEV, CARLOS AND RUNE HAVE THE BEST DEFENSES, AS NOLE IS GETTING OLD, SO NO MORE TO BE INCLUDED IN THIS CATEGORY.@@26adrianl16

  • @policeharuki9831

The best-of-three format in women's tennis is a result of tradition and the belief that women cannot handle the physical demands of five sets. Female tennis players have advocated for best-of-five matches in the past, but tournament organizers have been against the idea.

Let’s be honest, 5 set match for women spells disaster. The endurance and the physical demands of tennis is different between men and women. By 4th set, probably many women will be sending moonballs to their opponents. For spectators that’ll be snooze fest. Men on the other hand, by nature, have longer (generally) endurance than women.
