    You can tell this chef is very talented! The way he moves his tools shows he’s experienced ever possible outcome of movements. Very efficient!

    This is interesting! This teppanyaki restaurant is more like a Japanese cooking style. The ingredients and techniques used are similar to Japanese food, so it must have been a fresh experience for Aden.

    appears to be a thick miso-shiro (soup) made with red miso (nano-hana leaf added) ~ not sure ~ ('o make' ~ complimentary ~ not on the bill)

    I'm always amazed how much salt (and pepper some times) they put on these meals, compared to how I season food at home. I'd expect it to taste way too salty. Is some just left behind from the cooking technique?

    Ok... I must say this... As aalmost 30y. veteran in restaurant service I'e never see this clean gridron. Even the waste slot has no any "shit" on it. Either the Gridron is quite new or the head chef is running it tight.

    I feel like the shrimp dish was more pleasant to see being prepared than to eat. It was just salted shrimp with a bit of lime… the veggies were probably more flavorful

    I still do not understand how people can eat Uni. I mean, I understand it's an acquired taste, but for the life of me I can't understand why a person would want to acquire a taste for "Barnacle Covered Pier Leg". :)

    Ehh, that steak was medium-medium,,almost medium-well. Never seen them mash the mushroom, could have split it in two and cooked each side better,,than mashing it with the spatula. Looked like it had been stepped on. All the rest looked good.

    the point of Teppanyaki is to showcase the ingredients, so yea it's plain I have the same problem that's why I don't go to these because I like bold flavors. They do give wasabi salt and garlic chips for the steak but all the veggies wouldn't be for me too bland
